landon: the nurse actually thought we were dating lmao
gal: lmfao what r u srs
He laughed and turned to face him with a laugh. "I still want to see you wear it. I dunno." He hummed before wrapping his arms around Galaxy's slim figure. "I think you're very cute. Just attractive in general." He noted with a shrug. Lorne found it adorable that Gal was admiring him. He caught him watching him change but he didn't say anything about it. It was strange too.. Of course he didn't think anyone found him that attractive but who does? Only some people have that much confidence in themselves.
"Then give it here, you weirdo," He mumbled, holding out his hands. Galaxy smiled, putting his arm around Lorne's neck loosely. Gal blushed a bit, touching his lips to the boy's soft hair.

When Gwen woke up for the second time, there were two nurse in the room. One changing the names on the board for the night shift of nurses, and the other over looking Gwen to see if she was alright. “Oh, Ms. Vargas, you’re up. Let me go get the doctor. When we tried to come in last time you had fallen asleep,” she said, scurrying out of the room. A few minutes later, the doctor walked in, the nurse trailing behind him. “Hello, I’m Dr. Rossi, pleasure to meet you. Okay, so Ms. Vargas, you’re going to be here for few days. Then you have your choice of rehab, or just casual therapy to help with your addiction. I’ll give you time to decide,” he said, resting his hand on hers for a second then turning to walk out. Rehab? Fuck that. Not again. She had already racked up thousands of debt to the facility anyways, she didn’t need anymore.
She faced the nurse in the room, “Um. Excuse me, how did I get here?” she asked, confused. The nurse smiled, “A boy, I’m assuming your friend,” she said, “I could bring him in if you’d like?” Gwen took a deep breath. Unsure if it was Galaxy or Landon. She wasn’t sure whether Landon had been released from the ER yet, so she was clueless. “Yeah, that’d be fine, thanks,” she replied, making up fake conversations in her head, ones where she wouldn’t be looked down on. She knew that would never come true. Not with either of them.
Gal saw a nurse walk into the waiting room. "Is the person who brought in Gwendolyn Vargas here?" He stood up, practically tripping over chairs as he ran to her. "Yes!" He yelled, raising his hand in case his big show hadn't made it obvious who he was. She bit her lip, nodding. "Right," She said awkwardly, turning around and starting to walk down the hall. "Come."
He followed her, looking around. What would he say to Gwen? "She's just in this room here," The woman said, gesturing to a closed door and then walking away. Galaxy took a breath, opening the door slowly. Gwen was lying there, staring at the ceiling, an IV in her arm. He wordlessly walked inside, sitting in a chair.

Gwen regained consciousness, her eyes still shut. She could tell it was bright in the room, so she opened them slowly. White. Everything was white. The walls, the ceiling, the bed she was laying on. She brought her hand up to her face to rub her eyes but was interrupted by an IV drip. Slowly. She sat her arm back down. I didn’t. I couldn’t have. I was fine. Gwen quickly glanced around the room, wondering how she got there. A nurse knocked and walked in, “Good heavens, honey. You’re up. I just came in to check on you,” she said, smiling and checking her IV and information page. “Gwendolyn, is it?” Gwen nodded, “You can call me Gwen..” she said quietly, almost inaudible. The lady smiled, “I’ll go notify the doctor that you’re awake, dear,” she said walking out, closing the door slowly behind her. Turning her head away from the door, Gwen closed her eyes, listening to the steady drip of the IV, half wanting to just fall asleep, half wanting to never wake up.
Galaxy sat in the waiting room, face in his hands. Occasionally he'd fidget, throwing his leg over the armrest or crossing them, but he hadn't gotten up to pace. Yet. No, usually it wasn't until the first hour had passed when he started to pace, he had found. His experience with both Gwen and his parents had let him know that. He sighed, pulling out his phone and shooting a quick text to Charity and Landon telling him where they were. He put his phone away, looking around the room, his eyes still a bit blurred with tears.
"Yeah, Charity and Gwen are stuck like glue together sometimes." Landon joked with him. "We have to be bros before hoes." Landon laughed and shook his head. "That was the biggest tool think I could ever say." He shrugged his shoulders with a smile on his face. "You will be the first one, I call." Landon promised him. "I could go viral." He teased him.
Galaxy shrugged. "Sometimes tools say smart things," He laughed, pulling the boy closer and sighing. "And then we could put ads on the videos and earn money but really I'd just keep it all." He bit his lip, looking up and down at Landon's wounds again. "How bad does it hurt?"

Galaxy sat in his room, watching TV. He had gotten off just a little bit before so after he put away his supplies, took a shower, and put on pajamas he was where he was now. Gal looked around, sighing at how bored he was. Maybe Gwen or Charity were around? He picked up his phone and slipped into some shoes, grabbing his keys and running his hand through his curls as he walked out the door and toward their room. It was strangely quiet as he got to their door, and he quickly knocked. "Gwen?" He called out. "Char? Are you guys in there?" He frowned, not hearing a response. Galaxy took out his keys, picking out the one to their apartment. He figured it would be less boring to wait for them in their own apartment, it would give him a change of scenery. He unlocked the door, walking in and calling out a cautious "Hello?" just in case they didn't hear him the first time and thought he was a robber. Gal turned to go to the kitchen, rolling his eyes before they almost bulged out of their sockets. His breath caught in his throat and he managed a small, "Gwen?" She lay on the floor, clearly passed out. He ran to her, scooping up her head and feeling her forehead then her neck, checking for a pulse. He sighed in relief, finding one. "Fuck, what happe-" He began, glancing around before he saw her credit card just a few feet away and noticed white dust rimming her nostril. He clenched his jaw, gently picking her up. He whipped out his phone, calling a cab and then gathered his stuff.
He walked down to the lobby area, passing the front desk and confused strangers that gave them lingering looks. He sighed, opening the taxi door and slowly sliding in, giving the driver the name of the hospital. The whole ride, Galaxy held Gwen close to him, biting his lip to stop tears from falling. He brushed a stray lock of hair from her face and closed his eyes, leaning forward and kissing her cheek. "You're such an idiot," He whispered. "But you're an idiot that needs to stay here, so please stay with me." He felt her pulse again, a little worried at the delay between beats but he knew it was still a pulse.
They pulled up to the ER entrance and he hopped out, throwing money to the man before running inside. "Gwen, er, Gwendolyn Vargas. I think she overdosed on cocaine," He said frantically, shaking a bit as he finally said the words. "P-Please help her." He watched as they put her on a stretcher and rolled her off some bright white hallway and he bit his lip, sitting down and avoiding the gazes of worried visitors.
