Fan Joy July #8 (event by @kikker-oma )

I know it's August, but I had one more I'd planned but not finished

Warriors trembled against them as they walked, shaky and unsteady on his feet and panting softly with exertion. Hyrule recalled the times he himself had barely been able to finish a fight after a revival, kept moving only through adrenaline and sheer spite and then collapsing right after he found a cave or a ditch to take shelter in. His heart ached with sympathy for his brother, and he made sure to shoulder as much of his weight as he could while they walked aimlessly through the woods, waiting for the witch’s magic to bring them to her glade.

Fan Joy July #7 (event by @kikker-oma )

To everyone's joy, they found the town the next day. They received some supplies and information, and per a nearly unanimous vote, some milk for Wild to use in his meals. It was also unanimously decided that Sky be forced to try some. He took it. Only as repayment for all their kindness, but he drank it. It was... not as horrible as he'd thought it would be. Maybe even decent? He even began to apologize for his prior fuss... ...until he fell terribly ill.  Wild said he must have been "lactose intolerant". All Sky knew was he was never touching a glass of milk again.

He feels like he's not explaining this well, but Sky listens regardless. “I know now I was never her favorite. I'm glad she protected Flora back in the castle, worried for her. But-” Wild’s sigh is harsh, he can feel the burning in his eyes, he hates to cry, hates how it steals his words from him. “She never asked if I was okay. That's the part I remember. A hundred years, and all that came before was missing. I had no one and still…”

As Tuor and Ecthelion fell into excited conversation across the table, Glorfindel turned to Idril with a grin. His cousin rolled her eyes. “Do not gloat,” she warned. “My dear girl, I had no intention of gloating. I am simply pleased beyond words at your wonderful new love.”

“They look like bleeding umbrellas! That’s what we call them back in the Shire anyway.” Pippin held one up to Boromir, who took the fungus in a tentative hand. The name was apt—the enormous mushrooms drooped down like fleshy parasols, gleaming an evil green, with a blackish glow dripping like ink around the umbrella’s rim.

Fan Joy July #3 (event by @kikker-oma )

First looked to his wrists, where names now replaced red scars. Names that meant absolutely everything to him. "Yes. I love them."

I drew him right after having the tattoos done rather than when that line actually comes from!
