just wanted to make a little post to say that my sims commissions are open!
if you've ever wanted a sim made of your oc, d&d character, fandom character, yourself, or literally anything else, i'd love to make them for you. i'm always up for a challenge and honestly some of my favourite sims i've made have come from people bringing me really specific or unusual ideas.
i'm doing this because i genuinely love creating sims and bringing characters to life, but i'll also be honest and say that any commissions are massively appreciated right now. i'm currently unemployed and spending a lot of time applying for jobs, and the job market is... not exactly being kind to me at the moment.
so if you've been thinking about getting a sim made, i'd really appreciate you checking out my ko-fi. even sharing this post helps a ton.
thank you for reading, and thank you to everyone who's supported my silly little sims.

High Flamekeeper Reverence Keren of St. Vitruvio's Cathedral
I was once again tagged to make an alternate version of one of my sims, this time by the phenomenal @xandezsims. I haven't really opened my game in a while, but luckily I had this on hand from when I took the pics of Rook for the last one of these I made. So here's my boy Carrion in another -- much happier and less eventful -- life.
Like last time, more details of the AU under the cut.
Essentially, this is Carrion if literally the entire premise of the campaign never happened. I could spend hours talking about the lore, but the tl;dr is that a meteor full of magically radioactive crystals hit the capital city of a country 10 years ago. The city was destroyed and everyone who didn't die in the initial impact or make it out in < 2 hours was transformed into a fucked-up monster.
So, this is Carrion -- or rather, Reverence (his birth name) -- if that never happened.
No meteor means his home is never destroyed, his parents never die, he's never exposed to Delirium, he never meets Theodore, never joins the Silver Order*, and never takes on the name Carrion.
(*There is another version of the "no meteor" AU where he does end up in the Silver Order instead of a priest, though. In fact, that's probably the more likely one.)
Instead, he would have followed in his father's footsteps and become a priest of the Sacred Flame.
(The head of a church or area is called a Flamekeeper. Usually only women hold that title, but since there's no crazy monster transformations happening in this AU, we have to get our trans allegory and genderfuckery SOMEWHERE.)
As always, a mandatory (and well-deserved) shoutout to my beloved @goldenwaves for entertaining my random Drakkenheim-related ramblings, answering my silly questions, and enabling (and encouraging) my Carrion obsession. I cannot possibly thank you enough. I hope we get to play again sometime soon!
Thank you again to @xandezsims for the tag! I hope you enjoyed this new batch of Carrion lore!
I'm going to tag @galumphlee and also tag anyone who plays TTRPGs. You are now legally required (/j) to make an alternate version of one of your OCs and tag me in the post so I can see it.
