Not to get all white knight, but it’s genuinely painful seeing so many kids fall for Dream’s manipulation tactics. I’m old enough and experienced enough to see right the fuck through them all, and I wish someone would just publicly confront him, call his bluffs. I know it can’t be me, I’m literally nobody. 

And I know that anyone who can see his manipulation for what it is is either too close to him, too afraid to anger him or his fans, or too far. They won’t have the necessary believability or ~clout~ to actually say criticism that Dream or his fans are willing to hear. 

Dream’s ego is deeply invested in protecting itself. He can be thoroughly taken to task by Hasanabi and still come out thinking the same way he did before, not reflecting or changing or growing. You cannot reason with Dream. And it’s to the point that you cannot reason with his fans. Stanning Dream is officially a cult.
