âEveryone goes through a period of Traviamento - when we take, say, a different turn in life, the other via. Dante himself did. Some recover, some pretend to recover, some never come back, some chicken out before even starting, and some, for fear of taking any turns, find themselves leading the wrong life all life long.âÂ

sherlock looks at john he fucking looks at him while sheâs saying it
They left us with them doing this, rebuilding their home, coparenting, âthe man we both love,â âSherlock is in love, but with who?â, John is family, but they couldnât take that final step and have them kiss.
Yes! via Reblog for iPad
Think whatever you want but itâs still Johnlock to me.
They are family.
They live together and rebuild they life.
They bring up a kid together.
They love each other and it didnât come easy for them to be together.
I donât need any explicit confirmation to believe.
I donât.Â
All those seasons I was told how strong and beautiful their relationship was, that love conquers all. And itâs true.
In TFP I heard Sherlock ask âYouâre okay?â for the first time (also, he called Lestrade âGregâ), which gives me hope that finally he became human, not a calculating machine and now he is able to built a true and deep relation with John.
I know what made him and I see who he has become.
Totally agree! via Reblog for iPad
âItâs still snowing.â
John doesnât bother to look up from the book heâs reading. Â âWell spotted.â
Sherlock makes an irritated noise from where heâs standing in front of the window, violin held limply at his side. Â âWhy is it still snowing?â
âDunno,â John says, reaching for his tea. Â âPhone Mycroft, ask him. Â If anyone could control the weather itâs probably him.â
âHa ha very funny.â
John smiles around the rim of his mug.  It was, in fact, still snowing, just as it had been for the past two days.  The edges of the windows were steadily filling up, fluffy white flakes forming small, peaked mountains.  Itâs actually been a rather peaceful couple of days, to be honest.  Thereâs been time for talking, for reading, for dozing by the fire crackling in the grate, for a couple of lazy morning shags.  But peaceful isnât something thatâs known to last very long in Baker Street.  In fact, âpeacefulâ is usually a precursor to Sherlock blowing up the toaster.
âStop that.â
John looks up this time to find Sherlock has turned around and is glaring at him. Â âStop what?â
âReading.â
John quirks an eyebrow. Â âIs that supposed to be an order?â
Sherlock rolls his eyes. Â âItâs boring, and Iâm bored, and youâre not helping.â
John considers him for a moment.  Sherlockâs hair is in disarray, and his bathrobe is falling from one shoulder, and his bare feet tap angry little notes against the carpet.  His eyes have slitted back into their glare, and heâs aiming it at John as if he can control him just by staring long enough. Ignoring the fact that he apparently can, John closes his book and sets it aside.  It seems blowing things up isnât on Sherlockâs agenda today.
âYou know, you donât have to do that,â he says, making his voice as gentle as he can.
Sherlockâs feet go still. Â âDo what?â
âPretend youâre irritated with me.â
âI am irritated with you.â
John stands up. Â âNo, youâre irritated with yourself because you donât know how to ask for what you want.â
The tense line of Sherlockâs shoulders tightens further. Â âI donât know what youâre talking about.â
John gives him his best âyouâre not fooling me for a minuteâ look and walks over to where Sherlock is standing.  Sherlock stays still, and his eyes fall to where Johnâs hand slips into his own, their fingers intertwining.
âStop being so difficult, you twit,â John says fondly, pulling him a bit closer.
Sherlock swallows. Â âYou wouldnât like me if I wasnât difficult.â
âLove you,â John corrects, and Sherlockâs cheeks go pink as if it isnât the hundredth time John has said it in the past few weeks, as if just that morning he hadnât pressed the same hand heâs holding now back against the sheets as Sherlock gasped beneath him.
âYes. Â That,â Sherlock says, not meeting Johnâs eyes, and itâs a little bit heartbreaking, that. Â So John presses up onto his toes and kisses him, soft but meaningful.
Sherlock is better with physical affection than he is with words, and he falls easily into the kiss, his hands sliding up to cup Johnâs face. Â Itâs still new. Â John is still learning the shape of Sherlockâs mouth, the planes of his body, and, most importantly, the inner workings of his heart. Â But John has experience with those things whereas Sherlock does not, and so John finds himself teaching his genius when he least expects it.
âTell me what you want,â John says against his mouth, his hands sliding soothingly up and down Sherlockâs back, the silk of his dressing gown catching in his fingers. Â âThatâs how this works, remember? Â Talk to me.â
Sherlock takes a shuddering breath and presses his forehead to Johnâs. Â âYouâll think Iâm ridiculous.â
John laughs and kisses the corner of his mouth. Â âThat ship sailed long ago, love.â
Sherlock pulls back and tries to glare again, but it falls flat, and heâs immediately back to looking endearingly anxious.  He clears his throat.  âI want you to sit on the sofa, and I want to put my head in your lap, and I want you to play with my hair.â  He pauses before tacking on a âPlease.â
John has to press his lips together to keep from grinning. Â âIs that all?â
Sherlock thinks for a moment. Â âYes. Â You can read if you like. Â While youâre doing it.â
âSo what youâre saying is you want a cuddle?â
Sherlock rolls his eyes again. Â âDonât be tedious.â
John doesnât hold his grin back this time, and he canât stop himself from kissing Sherlock until the frown on his lips is well and truly forgotten.
âCuddles are never tedious,â he says when he finally pulls back.
Sherlock looks a bit dazed, his lips kiss-swollen and his hair even more unruly than before. Â âI think. Â I think we should test that theory.â
John laughs, and they do exactly that.  John spends a lovely, relaxing hour with Sherlockâs head in his lap, his fingers pulling through those dark curls, scratching lightly at his scalp, pressing gently into the fragile bones of his skull. And Sherlock decides, firstly, that more experiments on the matter will have to be done, and, secondly, that perhaps cuddles with John are, in fact, never tedious.

REDUX: Itâs Never Twins, Itâs Triplets
Mary Morstan-Watson is a set of triplets â Gabrielle Ashdown, Rosamund Ashdown, and possibly also Mary Ashdown aka Sherrinford
My husband is 3 people = TSo3
My wife is 3 people = T6T, TLD, TFP
Their brother is Jim Moriarty
Jim Moriarty died in 2011 (TRF)
One of the triplet sisters faked her death in 2015 (T6T)
The Abominable Bride had a brother who had died 4 years before she faked her death.
TAB review
Emelia Ricoletti aka The Abominable Bride aka Mary Morstan-Watson is a âbeloved sisterâ according to her gravestone. She is part of a cultish group of Brides / Wives.
In the end, their orchestrator / spokesperson bride is revealed to be Jim
Molly Hooper and Janine Hawkins are part of this group of murderers
Mollyâs assignment is John, thatâs why she is always an asshole to him when they interact, even in previous seasons.
Molly Hooper is evil. Her fake ass cinnamon roll act will finally be exposed.
Sherlock has picked up on Mollyâs constant unprovoked hostility to John, which he incorporates in his TAB MP morgue scene and imagines her to be the Bride that tried to frighten John.
âI owe you a fallâ
Either Jim fell in a well or Mary drowned at sea. Most likely it was Mary Ashdown, the blonde singing girl we saw with Child Sherlock playing pirates at the beach.
Mary Ashdown was separated from her triplet siblings Gabrielle and Rosamund when she was presumed dead and drowned at sea.
Hence, we see John being slowly drowned in a well as revenge.
Or Mary Ashdown fell down a well and was never found, presumed drowned.
âMy brother has the brain of a scientist or a philosopher, yet he elects to be a detective. What might we deduce about his heart?â
Sherlockâs parents put him in the psychiatric institutionâs padded cell we saw in HLV MP because he had a nervous breakdown while haunted by the memory of Mary Ashdownâs drowning. Sherlock can create MP rooms only if he has been in that particular room before.
Sherlock still wants to solve Mary Ashdownâs drowning case even if he no longer remembers why.
Sherlockâs 1st ever case was Mary Ashdownâs drowning, Jimâs sister, not the Carl Powers case.
Thatâs why no one listened to him when he was a kid trying to get the adults to believe something was wrong about not finding Carlâs shoes. Sherlock parents, along with Mycroft, did to Sherlock what Henry Knight went through, forced amnesia on Sherlock to distance him from trauma, lest he start to remember like Henry Knight.
The Bride was singing, âDo not forget me, do not forget meâŚâ
Jim killed Carl when they were children to remind a then-young Sherlock what happened to Mary Ashdown.
Thatâs where Sherlock goes to die as an adult â at the pool in reality and at the waterfall in his mind â with the half-remembered memory of Mary Ashdownâs watery âdeathâ symbolized by Jim because of family association but not clearly remembered yet.
Mary Ashdown didnât drown, she is Sherrinford now
Mary Ashdown and her 2 other triplet siblings Rosamund and Gabrielle â now reunited, we donât know how yet â Â infiltrate Johnâs life as Mary Morstan. To remind Sherlock of what happened long ago. In Sherlockâs HLV MP while he was trying to think of how to deal with Mary Morstan-Watson shooting him, he sees her in her TEH dress and says âSo, Mary, who are you?â
The Mary Morstan we see in TEH The Landmark scene was not originally an only child. She was one-third of a set of triplets with a brother named Jim, but was separated from her family when she washed out on sea, presumed dead, and eventually became Mary Sherrinford (although in my original Mary is triplets post, Sherrinford may be Mary Ashdownâs code name before she was fired from MI-6 and arrested for using government resources to help Gabrielle and Rosamund escape trial, which Mycroft tried to avoid â he doesnât want the fate of The Other One). The Mary Morstan Sherlock meets in TEH is Mary Ashdown aka Sherrinford whom he deduces to be an only child but has been an only child just since she survived her drowning.
The triplets rotate as Mary Morstan and John is married to a name these triplets embody.
Thatâs why Mary Morstan-Watsonâs cremation scene was so blue â along with most of T6T â and visually crafted to look like water. Sheâs not dead, sheâs reminding us of water, reminding us of Mary Ashdownâs âdeathâ. There are 2 more Mary Morstan-Watsons out there. And since T6T is Sherlockâs alibi for John killing one of the 3 Mary Morstans, Sherlock is remembering watery Mary, do not forget me, do not forget me.
When we get to see the cave by the sea discussed in Setlock, we will see how Mary Ashdown survived the almost-drowning. âTake me back to the start.â Henry Knight went back to where it all began. The crime scene and the crime.
âI always liked Maryâ
This is Gabrielle Ashdown we see in Morocco. She got her passport in Norway. Sheâs pretending to be Rosamund after John guesses it because she named her daughter / her triplet siblingâs daughter after her two triplet siblings Rosamund and Mary.
âPeople have died.â
âThatâs what people do!!!â
Irritating, annoying, shitty, over-the-top acting because Sherlock inadvertently pushed a sore button.
Jim thought his sister had died. Turns out Mary Ashdown survived and is now Sherrinford.
âIâll burn you. Iâll burn the heart out of you.â
Semtex vest at TGG pool, Shanâs flaming giant arrow, Lord Moranâs explosives, CAMâs bonfire, Maryâs flaming red coat, Maryâs burnt-to-a-crisp gingerbread man, Mollyâs garish red hair bow and christening dress, Mollyâs lipstick at the opening scene of ASiPâŚ
Villainsâ weapon of choice is FIRE because their enemy is WATER.
âWhy is my brother so determined to bore me when somebody else is being so delightfully interesting?â
Mycroft knew Sherlock would descend into this long game of revenge by Jim and the Ashdown triplets. He has been distracting Sherlock with cases because Mycroft knows what really happened to Sherlock and Mary Ashdown when they were children.
Emelia Ricoletti faked her death. But she was ill and not long for this world. She made her fake death count by shooting into Baker Street (specifically into a loaf of bread). In the end, she commits assisted suicide. We donât know who shot her; weâre merely shown a hand.
One of the Ashdown triplets is ill and will eventually be killed by friendly fire. The terminally ill triplet may be Mary Ashdown/Mary Sherrinford, whom Sherlock thought to be pregnant at TSo3 but likely was not. And this terminally ill triplet, if indeed she was pregnant, was so sick that her baby arrived in this world a stillborn. RW / Rachel Wilson / Rosamund Watson / the real Mary Morstan born in October 1972 whose identity the triplets steal.
John has killed one of the 3 triplet siblings pretending to be Mary Morstan-Watson and T6T is Sherlockâs alibi for John. The triplet sibling John has killed is Rosamund. In the next 2 episodes we will see Sherlock kill one of the other triplet siblings, Gabrielle. And Mycroft who has ties with Mary Sherrinford (possibly a former MI-6 agent) will be the friendly fire who eventually kills the terminally ill Mary Ashdown/Mary Sherrinford.
Sherlock killing Gabrielle will be a nod to TPLoSH where he outwits the villain, the spy named Ilse aka Gabrielle aka Mrs. Ashdown. Mycroft killing Mary Ashdown will also be a nod to TPLoSH where the government eventually executes Ilse.
If Saviour-Christ coded Sherlock has to die thrice, so does Devil-coded Mary Morstan.
âThatâs not what happened at allâ
Mary Morstan-Watson aka Rosamund Ashdown was keeping John as hostage deep inside the well â the incident that led to a confrontation, arrest, and eventual death of one of the triplets.
Sherlock, John, Mycroft, and Greg are the only witnesses.
Porlock, Love, Antarctica, and Langdale.
Mycroft was wrestling Sherlockâs phone (heart) off him because Mycroft thinks Sherlockâs heart would not help the situation in how they will doctor the retelling.
âIs that sentiment talking?â = Will you make public your heart and the truth?
âNo, itâs just me.â = Sherlock has finally come to terms with his love for John.
âHard to tell the difference this days.â = Sherlockâs narration provides an alibi for John because he loves John â sentiment.
Rosamund Ashdown died not in an aquarium but she did die in watery circumstances. Thus Sherlockâs retelling is visually blue and watery.
T6T is how Sherlock retells the events to an audience to whom he sells Johnâs alibi. He narrates it while high and increasingly blind because Mary Morstan-Watson (Gabrielle Ashdown) poisoned him with the paper whiffy drug.
The Final Problem translated abroad as A Family Affair
We have talked extensively of Sherlock being coded as Saviour-Christ and both Mary and Jim coded as the devil. The triplets Rosamund (Pain), Gabrielle (Heartbreak), Mary (Loss) â together with Jim (Death) â make up a variation on the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse.
They are taking everyone to hell and back.
But love conquers all.
Love, aka John Watson, will unleash maximum strength BAMF-amo as ammo.
They get to kill all 3 Devils â the 3 fake Mary Morstan Ashdown triplets.
Death (Jim) will wait for them in S5.
Death will always wait in Samarra.
Unless Sherlock writes the fix-it fic.
Oh wait, he already did. Happily ever after, guaranteed.
