The scenes with journal were amazing this episode, how were you able to actually sound like you were in pain? What was going on in the recording booth :sob:

Thank you! I’m very proud of my acting for Journal! I don’t have any tricks, I just tried my best to get into character!

Fun Fact: Before recording Journal, I had to warn both my family and my neighbour I was doing a recording session, just in case people heard me screaming and thought I was in danger.

I just want to say, that your voice acting for Plasma Ball in episode 15 was amazing. I legitimately tear up every time I get to the end of the episode. But I want to know how you prepared yourself for recording those lines, given that it was a very emotional scene.

Lots of improv to prep myself for those recordings. Feeling out how I portray crying or raw emotion without is very difficult. I had to pretend cry for a while and study how the voice changes during moment like that.

Sometimes it can come off as cringe. Same with screaming, if people just scream without expressing an emotion properly, it comes off as bad acting.

Blood represents Unity, Responsibility, and Bonds. If that's not Treasure Chest I don't know what is. As the team leader, he works hard to serve others. That and I gave him Karkat's classpect because... Well... If you know, you know.

I'll be real with you... I had no idea how to go about showing off his epic Blood powers. The thing about Blood is that we never get to see what its physical abilities look like. That and.... My Treasure Chest gijinka doesn't have blood. I wasn't willing to give him blood just for this drawing.
