I just finished stitching Pidge and I love how she turned out! I'll get to the others at some point, but I wish I had found this pattern and made it back in May for MomoCon so I could've given it to @bex_tk ! Stitched by me, pattern made by parvumautomation.tumblr.com #voltronlegendarydefender #Pidge #greenpaladin (at Marietta, Georgia) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bn2Cm9JhB5T/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1xe0frmk5nhal
Panic! at the Disco! (at Infinite Energy Center)
Only one team matters today. Come on Colombia! Let's do this! 🇨🇴 #Colombia #worldcup2018 #loscafeteros #latinpride (at Marietta, Georgia)
So far so good! All I have left is the guardian of the fire tomorrow and the guardian symbols will be done! So, you know, maybe start thinking of buying them? #voltronlegendarydefender #artwork #canvaspainting (at Marietta, Georgia)
One left now! It's hard to tell, but there's only a small bit of white on here. The rest is 2 different shades of gray, silver, and a little bit of white opal. #Shiro #voltronlegendarydefender #blacklion #guardianofthesky (at Marietta, Georgia)
Third canvas done! Another on my list to do tomorrow. #Lance #voltronlegendarydefender #bluelion #guardianofthewater (at Marietta, Georgia)
Rainy weather calls for painting! Finished up another Voltron piece. Shooting for getting the last 3 done this weekend before trying a few hybrid designs. #Hunk #voltronlegendarydefender #yellowlion #guardianoftheearth #imaleg
First one is done! I'm really happy how this turned out! Can't wait to do the rest! #Pidge #voltronlegendarydefender #guardianoftheforest #greenlion (at Marietta, Georgia)
Moved on to canvas. I'll see the finished design once it dries, then I can seal it (once it stops raining away some points in the next day or two). #Pidge #voltronlegendarydefender #guardianoftheforest (at Marietta, Georgia)
Guess who has caught up on work and is back in the studio? Ok, it's the basement, but this corner is my studio. I have too many ideas I want to work on. Here comes the paint! (at Marietta, Georgia)
Since I’ve been asked to post my work, I decided to start with one of my favorites. I had a co-worker who is a HUGE Spiderman fan. When she and her husband bought their first house shortly after their wedding, I wanted to get them something, but as I worked in retail, funds were needed elsewhere. So, I got creative. I found this really cool picture of Spidey on DeviantArt (forgive me, I don’t remember the artist or I would give full credit) and decided it was perfect for my plan. One piece of canvas, some acrylic paint, several fine tipped brushes, a spool of cross-stitch blending filament and a week later, there he was. I have to admit, I was (and still am) pretty impressed with myself, especially considering this was my first time using canvas. So, brought it to work for my co-worker and she was speechless. Also, she cried and shrieked with joy. AND she put it on display for everyone to see until she went home for the day.
This is what I do. I rarely make anything and get money for it. When I do, it’s 99% of the time something I cross-stitched. I just like to make things that will mean something to others. That’s what makes me feel good. Well, that and allowing myself to be artistic again once in a while. I’ll gradually post more of my work here. This was completed in early 2013.
