The games I play always have amazing style. I got inspiration from games for my hairstyle (Yakuza). They would also inspire me to go to the gym. I like the clothing but I don't think I could wear those Final Fantasy or Dynasty Warriors clothes (lol).

I love Persona more than anything in the world and I love Insert Coin, because their clothes are always such amazing quality and good fabrics. I’ve been wearing the Kasumi Bomber Jacket for 2 or 3 years and it’s survived through winter without a scratch, keeping me warm. I’d even compare them to Uniqlo. It was natural for me to go for the Chie jacket for the competition, I hope I did well. :D

Hello and Welcome to Gamers Got Style!

The photo series/blog from Catberry Photography - bringing you all the gamers from London and around and their daily style. 

A little bit of background about me - I’m currently a freelance photographer, working with a lot of game companies such as Bethesda, Square Enix and Riot, but previously I used to work as a digital coordinator at Square Enix. I love games, they are my life, but I also love fashion and I’ve been fortunate enough to meet a lot of like-minded people. However, I’ve failed to see a presence online of the casual gamer style, which is what inspired me to start this blog. It was meant to be a photo series at first, but it really blew out of proportion to a point where I said, you know what, let’s make it a regular blog! I want to celebrate the style of people who get inspired by games and all things nerdy and are not afraid to show it and inspire other people to do the same. I want to see people’s passion in their daily life, shouting at other people ‘YEAH I LOVE POWER RANGERS, YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT?!’ :D

I also want to use this platform to inspire others, who have yet to discover their style, but also love games and are looking to find themselves and what defines them, think of it as a library, a lookbook to what other people like yourself are doing.
