Pittsburg rippers
One time I took a road trip with my friend Chrystina to Texas and we detoured in Decatur, Georgia to eat at a pizza place with this mural on the side of it. Sucks that it's closed now.

Married with Children Season 2 Episode 4 "Buck Can Do It"
The year was 1982 & one of the most hated bands on the West Coast was the New Jersey Ghouls, the MISFITS. Some shit went down in San Francisco on their tour that gave them a bad name in Cali, but good thing they had the Midwest heavy weights, NECROS, & Cali’s Black Flag waving their banner of radness. So by ’83 or ’84, things started to look up for them on the West Coast – this is around the time my homie Mike put me up on them heavy, because he had been collecting their music for years. I was lucky to get to see them perform two or three songs opening for the Black Flag all-star gig at the Santa Monica Civic; I’ve got to give it to them, they ripped it. Mike made me a bunch of tapes, & I was hooked, no matter what had taken place the years before. I did trip out when I moved to San Francisco in ’84 & saw Cliff Burton around town rocking his MISFIT tee – I thought it was rad that one of my favorite metal bands liked punk. Back then, no one in the underground community knew what would happen to the MISFITS legacy. Today CVLT Nation wants to take you back to a simpler time, when the MISFITS were a real band & not a Hot Topic t-shirt graphic. So we have unearthed some of their sickest shows from the early 80′s, when the band worked as a unit, striking fear into the hearts of the masses. After the jump, step into the devil’s whorehouse & peep some vintage horror punk live!

The Munsters Season 2 Episode 1: Herman's Child Psychology.
"Creature from the Black Lagoon is a pinball machine designed by John Trudeau ("Dr. Flash") and released by Midway (under the Bally brand name). It is loosely based on the movie of the same name. The game's theme is 1950's drive-in theater. Its major feature is a holographic creature, set in the middle of the playfield, that lights up and waves its "hand" back and forth during multiball play. The holograph is set behind a green plastic insert, so that the monster appears green. The game was licensed from Universal Studios by Bally so that the backglass artwork, the cabinet artwork, and the creature looked like the original movie actors and monsters.
There were five 1950's songs put in the game. These are:
Rock Around the Clock
Get a Job
Summertime Blues
Willie and the Hand Jive
Red River Rock (Johnny and the Hurricanes version)
All of the songs are instrumental versions, except for Red River Rock, which was originally an instrumental. The songs are played by the game's sound hardware."
FUCK YES.
