Lelianna was in the grocery store with a child in tow. They were browsing the new Guardians of the Galaxy merchandise since Chen was a good boy at school, he got a treat. The little boy’s hand reached for a baby groot plushie, handing it to his mother. “Want that little man?” He shook his head and answered for mummy. Chuckling, Lelianna saw him grab a star-lord gun and a drax sword. “We can’t afford both, Sweetie” She let him down gently but he started to cry and bumped into someone behind him landing flat on his bum, making him cry even more. Quickly apologising to the stranger, she picked up Chen. “I’m so sorry for him..”

EDEN HAD JOSHUA in the large part of the buggy playing with the new pens that eden had impulsively thrown into the buggy. as she was looking at a specific toy to use in her lesson plan, it was a review of the old west so of course she had to get a cowboy, but was interrupted by a body bumping into her. she turned quickly when she heard the crying and pouted as she looked at the little boy. “ it’s alright ! accidents happen lil’ guy, don’t cry over spilled milk ! ” she appeased the small boy before turning to presumably the mother. “ he caused no harm ! it’s alright ! shua here does it all the time ! ” she spoke in a happy tone, truly understanding kids and their actions.

her rather bright personality made his lips form a subtle smile as she covered her face. he hadn’t met anyone with such a character in a long time and seeing her made him realize how effective positive personalities was to his clashing somber character. he was glad, yet somewhat melancholic. his smile widened slightly at the sight of her messed up hair, smudged makeup and her eye bags that peeked through slightly. it was silly, yes, but it’s just what he needed these days. “it’s normal not to remember, it’s fine,” he said softly, before looking over at his bedside table for his phone. he stretched out a hand to check the time – 1:23 PM, it read. “um,” he hesitated slightly before asking, “it’s past one in the afternoon, so do you want to get something to eat?”

WHEN JAEWON GRABBED HIS phone eden hunted for hers, finding it on the other table. she quickly grabbed it, finding several notifications from kai. some were picture messages of joshua and kiki, but the most recent was all winking emojis followed by a let me know when you’re coming to get josh. she rubbed her head and looked at jaewon, a small smile on her lips. “ i’ll need some clothes... i don’t know if you’ll have anything that fits me too well though. ” she giggled as she set her phone back on the table, pulling her feet to sit criss cross apple sauce, pulling the shirt down to be sure to cover herself. “ i don’t think a navy blue cocktail dress would suit a lunch anyways. ” she teased happily, only a slight awkward feeling left in her.

his lips formed a thin line as he pressed them together before he started to bite gently on his lower lip. “uh..” he proceeded to say, not knowing what to do, his face getting red at the embarrassment. he carefully sat up, making sure the blanket followed suit and peeked his head out to his side of the bed, helping her look for her garments. with no luck, he turned back to her, only to make direct eye contact with her before averting his gaze elsewhere. she was quite the sight, with her bright hair and her fair skin and most of all, her jovial smile. he slowly returned his gaze at her, only to see her gazing back at him. he cleared his throat before taking in a sharp breath. “i’m jaewon and you’re…” his voice faded quickly as he tried to remember her name. “eden?”

WHEN JAEWON CLEARED his throat it was as if eden had been pulled out of her trance, startled at the realization that she had been staring she laughed, covering her face with her hands. “ i’m so sorry i was staring ! ” she chirped before looking at him when he spoke her name. “ now i feel like a complete ass for not remembering your name ! ” another laugh fell past her lips, although they started out as nervous giggles and easily turned into something more relaxed. she kept her hands over her mouth, hiding the blush that came onto her cheeks. thats the moment it hit her that her makeup was most likely running and cakey, causing her to internally cringe, she wasn’t a god at makeup but she knew how to make herself look good and to think that jaewon might be staring at smudged eyeliner and mascara caused her to almost pity herself.

all of it must’ve been a dream. the night out, loud music ringing in his ears, the flashing lights, the booze, the girls – all of it. it was so unlike him to spend his time at a place like that. so yeah, it had to be a dream. there was a small voice echoing in his dreams, a voice he couldn’t recognize immediately, but was awfully familiar. his eyes fluttered open, not knowing what to expect – only to see a pair of hazel orbs staring back at him. his body definitely reacted first before his brain did, as his arms retreated back to his body, backing up just a bit. he pulled the blanket up to cover the rest of his torso, as if by reflex, as his eyes stayed latched onto her. this has got to be a dream, he repeated over in his head. he hadn’t been with a girl since her and didn’t really find interest in anyone else. it took him a while to think of what to say and what to do, the two sharing an awkward “morning-after” silence. “sorry,” he said, in a shy whisper, starting off with apologies, before letting out a tired sigh. his throat was so dry and his head was aching – he needed something to drink desperately.

THE BLONDE NEARLY pouted as the warmth of the other body left hers, but she held in the pout and shifted, pulling the shirt that she assumed was the others down her body, looking around the floor for her panties, but not being able to find them. “ i-uh... this sounds really shitty... but i-uh.. i don’t remember your name... or what we did.. but i’m not in any panties and i don’t see them on the floor.. soo.. ” she chewed on her bottom lip nervously and laughed after a moment, pushing the blonde hair out of her face. she sat up, investigating the face of the boy in the bed with her. he was actually quite beautiful, so she understood why drunk eden was ready to bone. she continued chewing on her bottom lip as she looked at the other, beginning to become unaware with her staring.

A NIGHT OF PARTYING was never on eden’s agenda, especially because she could rarely find someone to watch joshua for long enough, but luckily kai had gracefully accepted the task of dealing with the rowdy five year old. the night was hard for eden to remember besides the fact she was squeezed into a tight blue dress that kai had recommended she wear, trying to help her pick up anyone she could. and whoo boy did it work. she had suitor after suitor approach her that night but a smile of a boy she didn’t even know had enchanted her. and when she woke up in the strangers bed she was a little shaken up to find that she was next to a shirtless boy, and in a shirt that wasn’t hers with nothing else on. she looked around before moving, realizing the other was cuddled up against her, holding her to his chest. she smiled slighty, not having been cuddled like this in a long time. it took her a few moments to figure out how to wake the sleeping figure gently. “ uhm... excuse me ? ” she questioned softly.

THE BLONDE SAT AT HER DESK, it was her lunch break and she had a phone conference with her sons soon to be teacher, discussing all the shots he would need to have and all the forms she’d need to fill out. eden couldn’t be happier that joshua was getting ready to start kindergarten. the feeling of her son growing up brought her such immense joy. when the knock on her door rang through her ears she jumped before bidding goodbye to the teacher. once the phone was on the reciever she smiled and looked to the door, unsure of who it would be. “ come in ! ” she called out.

the schools spring break had begun and eden was glad to be free of the rowdy highschoolers. she didn’t give them any homework because her being a student herself she knew she would be knees deep in her own course work. the blonde sat with her son, his light brown eyes extremely striking against his dark black hair. eden felt bad that she had given her son almost every detail of her own face, and all he was left with was a slight eyeshape like his fathers, and the light brown. eden looked at the boy and smiled. the five year old was writing in the sand, drawing animals and even a heart with mommy almost fitting perfectly in it. “here baby! lemme take a photo with you!” she stood and began backing up, walking right into someone. she inhaled sharply and turned around, grabbing the others shoulder. “i’m so sorry!” she chirped as she heard joshua giggling behind her. “i wasn’t paying any attention!”
