Upon regaining conciousness, bearing no recollection of previous events, neither of the reason why she was lying over a pile of rubble nor why her whole body was throbbing, thus was the sight laid in front of Mio's eyes. Azure hues had glanced around, abashment visible all over her features as she tried to comprehend her predicament, casting a Diaharan on her to heal her wounds though she hadn't moved just yet, closing her eyelids for a short moment, attempting to calm her fastly beating heart, before taking in the cloudy sky above her once again. The feel of concrete under her palms, under each part of her back and her legs felt all too real for her to believe this may be a dream, a possibility she disregarded in mere seconds despite being unaware of what had truly come to happen.
As the Ubergeist pondered, she couldn't help but assume it may have been a plot from the church of Messiah or the cult of Gaia, a possibility she soon disregarded for she could feel no demonic energy around. However, there had been... other creatures, ones she had yet to come across, and yet seemed familiar in some way. Sensing numerous undeads approaching her, most likely to feed on her flesh, she had gotten up, not having hesitated using her demonic abilities for she didn't believe hiding them in this place mattered much, no other human being lurking around.
Fire magic was called forth in complete disregard of side damage it could do for there was nothing to protect anymore from her powers, neither buildings nor human, solely her life that she could easily fight for in such a world.
What if this place was a perfect one for me?
The redhead couldn't help the thoughts from grazing her mind as, having no reason to hide her partly demonic nature or her powers gave her a freedom she had never indulged in living alongside humans, her opponents falling in mere seconds faced to her magic. And yet, this newly found privilege induced dread in her for it was new, for it wasn't how she had lived for all this time and for she had no idea what could be her future in such a devastated world.
Bearing no purpose in mind, Mio's feet led her to the source overwhelming power she could feel, guessing that whomever it belonged to had been the cause of such destruction. However, as she arrived atop of stairs, gazing at what seemed a shrine, what eyes could see were familiar features, ones belonging to an "oddity" she had met not long ago.
"So, you're the one behind that?" The Ubergeist's words were neither defensive, nor accusing, simply rhetorically inquiring, her posture remaining a casual one, not displaying fear despite the other woman's powers being ones she most likely was no match against, attempting to show with both her voice and body language that she was no enemy in hopes that the blonde wasn't too far gone to take in clues. "What happened?"
