Claudia & co, are you still taking asks?
Why, yes. We’re still open for business. Our little pizzeria had to undergo major renovations, but we’re still around.

The Absence
Sorry, we couldn’t post anything. Claudia was too busy contacting her extended family.
Her brother works at a steakhouse.
Her cousin, Balski, works at an amusement park. (He and the carousel are good friends. Apparently, theme park rides count as appliances.)
Claw Machine Musings
The others tell me I’m crazy, but I saw a refrigerator running. We’re not supposed to move in the presence of humans, but no one told that refrigerator.
Hmm, maybe I’ll ask someone about it.
Hi, Fiammetta! It's nice to meet you! How's your experience in the kitchen been like?
Well, of course, it’s been quite entertaining. I love seeing people happy.
Though it’s been busy. The dinner rush is always complicated.
Fiammetta
Claudia swung back into inactivity, watching as the teenage busboy dashed out the door. The pizza restaurant closed early Saturday nights.
Dolly twitched.
Behind her, an oven door swung open.
“Oh, never knew it was so late!” A feminine, thick Italian accent said. “Wait, why are you logging on to the internet?”
Dolly shuddered. “Oh, sorry, Miss Fiammetta... I... uh...”
Claudia clicked her metal “teeth”. “You want to join in our blog?”
Fiametta slammed the oven door. “What’s that?”
“We’ll explain it later.”
By the front door
I wasn’t always by the front door. Decades earlier, they had an arcade cabinet. Urban Brawler, was it? They were going to buy a Dance of Death cabinet to replace it, but that game was too violent.
Have either of you actually tried the pizza? I know that might sound weird, but you know...
D- I... uh... tried to...
C- Touch screens and sauce don’t mix. The owners had to wipe her down.
Hey, Claudia! Are any specific treasures you like holding most?
I’ve had several “treasures” that I enjoyed holding. One time, I got a shipment of mint condition Care Bears. Oh, and the Sailor moon plushies… And the operator’s house keys!
Oh, I tend to get ahead of myself.

Hello, D and C. Nice to meet you. Tell me, what to you do around here? I see that D is a cash register, and C is a claw machine, so, do you work at a restaurant?
D- I keep a record of transactions, I print receipts. I can even swipe cards. And my touch screen can be used to write signatures.
C- And I’m just an amusement device that the owners put in place to keep children and teens occupied. I’m quite hard to win.
D- And yes, we do work at a restaurant. The finest New York Style Pizza in the City of Light.
C- You’re only saying that because you like the place.
Introductory Post
D- H-h-hey I’m Dolly and I’m a cash register.
C- Welcome to the pizza parlor! While you wait for your pie to cook, why don’t you try your luck with me?
D- Uh... and um... yeah. Enjoy the blog.
