i enjoy making miscellaneous things in photopea using media from the internet archive, wikimedia commons, flickr, openclipart, unsplash, and digital collections like the met + getty. when in doubt, i use reverse image search engines like tineye to find/confirm image credits
a few other invaluable tools/projects: ad blocker (ublock origin ext), wayback machine, project gutenberg, biodiversity heritage library, queering the map, plus the black film, anything that moves, and palestinian museum archives
