Went to a place where you can watch owls but not touch. They're brought in and later sent home. Many were saved or bought from bad owners. So happy to see them up close – they're clearly well cared for.

It seriously drives me crazy how often I see people these days actually judging someone's character by their looks. Like, 'Oh, no wonder she's aging so badly – she's a horrible person,' or 'He's so ugly because his views are disgusting.' No. That's not how it works. That's how people thought a thousand years ago – that ugliness was punishment for sins. But hello? You can be a beautiful person on the inside and not be attractive, and you can be drop-dead gorgeous and still be an absolute jerk. We're literally going back to judging people by their faces instead of their actions. It's just gross.
