for day 7 of @gavin-bros-week i just want to say THANK YOU to the organizers for putting together this event!! i love fan weeks like this not just because it's a chance to create, but it also brings people together by sharing in each other's creations. i've discovered some new artists and writers and even made new friends, which is i think what fandom is all about 💜

this week has also just made me realize how much i love these brothers 😭 we really need a proper gavin brothers backstory for real, but until we get that i will look to the fans of this weird and flawed and lovable DS game to bring their dynamic to life.

Thank you so much! This event meant a lot to host as both someone who adores the Gavins and so badly wanted to see them shine as characters in their own special light. Frankly, I expected a lot more shipping than I did works focusing on them as brothers, as that's typically where a lot of the action is fandom-wise! Everyone who participated in this event made such lovely and personally focused pieces for both Kristoph and Klavier that I was deeply touched :')

To everyone who hasn't participated yet, don't be shy! The week itself may be at its end, but both the blog and the event itself is open indefinitely for submissions!!!!
