i reblogged that post without even paying too much attention to each gif for the same reason you don't look directly at the sun and now that i have i'm [vibrating like a nokia phone]

because!!!!!!!! okay i'm in an oifan mindset lately, i'm rewriting it to adjust the business side of it, so that's all i can see. but now i'm setting it around a ~corporate events and hospitality management~ company. which means they can attend some of the biggest events.

WITH THAT IN MIND.

imagine after a couple hours on their feet, making sure everything is running smoothly and making sure the clients know they're important, they both sit down to take a breath. they're both a bit drunk on bubbly and the energy in the event is such a fun one that, despite the stress here and there, they're having a really good time

when she saw lexa in that dress, clarke could swear a vein burst in her eye. she's been eyeing lexa wrap the crowd around her her finger and it's so fucking hot when people are competent at their jobs. and the way lexa pushes her chest out for a bit as leverage to scoot down the seat/step and then turns both her knees towards clarke makes her short circuit again, and she just... ever so slightly shifts closer to lexa. not even as a conscious move, but they're very comfortable with each other because they've been having sex for months now

then they’re looking at each other in the bubble of quiet that they have, and clarke remembers something funny that happened earlier in the evening. but you know when it’s so funny to you that you can’t stop laughing long enough to tell it? it’s how clarke is. and lexa looks at her and it’s so endearing that she can’t help but laugh along, laugh just because clarke is laughing.

but they’re just friends with benefits, and clarke casually dropping a hand on her thigh in public for everyone to see means nothing. nothing at all
