seriously not that big of a deal.

Mark and Eve are SO boring man. So so boring. Individually they are amazing, but together, these two are so underwhelming. I try to enjoy it but, all they do is fuck and go on the roof. No sustenance. Mark has more chemistry with Thragg, William, Cecil, Rex, Amber almost anyone who's NOT Eve.

Eve is INCREDIBLE. The show really did something with her that the comics failed and I was hoping for more independency (nice learning she was in school for the last 10 months Mark was away. Hopefully she made friends) but I just can't enjoy a woman character knowing that they're just there for sex and to be a therapist. It's fucking depressing. Someone write an alt universe where they're best friends who constantly get their ass kicked but win every battle at the end.

VERY happy that Debbie and Paul are at least amicable. I didn't like how they ended things in the comic so this was nice. They realize they didn't work, have no hard feelings and still care about each other so much where Paul will help Mark whenever he can.

It was refreshing to see Mark support Eve regarding her abortion. I know a bunch of smoothbrained fuckwads will share how Eve is a "murderer" but it's nice that such a likeable/popular male character didn't shame his partner and instead just supported her. Mark truly is a king.

loving this take on Oliver compared to how he is in the comics. LOVE how everyone is not just falling over for Nolan right off the bat. Let him know that he's a piece of shit and that he will always be a piece of shit in their eyes.

The change in Oliver also gives me SOME hope for Debbie. I'm guessing season 5 is when her and Nolan will get more focus, but just let them co-parent. I know this isn't that kinda show, but Debbie is so much more likeable on here then she is in the comics. If they write her going back to him and literally just have them fucking non stop like they do in the comics, then there's no hope for her or literally any woman.

I think it's super fucked up that despite adding and changing stuff, the writers couldn't even be bothered to give Eve a friend. Like she went to her boyfriend's bf which isn't crazy, but like, give her SOMEONE? What happened to her being in school? She didn't make ANY friends? This is why some people don't like her and I blame the writers entirely. If you haven't read the comics, prepared to be disappointed, Eve fans. You about to see the character with the most potential be nothing more than "Mark's girlfriend."

Also I'm just so so so happy with how they're doing Eve. I mean yeah, she's pregnant with... Mark's baby when he should be pregnant with mine but I'm just surprised with how much better she is here than in the comics. Idk, she doesn't seem as Mark focused and that's all I really want for her. Give this woman her own character. Let her continue her schooling. Let her have friends. Please please please don't let the only person she has any connection with be JUST Mark. That dude is about to meet so many people, Eve needs the same or something, even if it's fucking William or that girl she gave a pen too.
