ok obviously everyone knows that ‘the gang tries desperately to win an award’ is a big long metaphor about iasip never winning an emmy or getting nominated for a major award, but has anyone else noticed that mac scoring one point in the karate tournament but ultimately getting defeated is probably a reference to the fact that at that point they had only one emmy nomination and it was for stunt coordination and they lost cause i’ve never seen anyone mention this and it’s hilarious to me
