this post isn't vile lol. it's literally just pointing out how us white people are generally ignorant on AIDS' impact on the black community, and how solely centering gayness ignores that not-so-trivial fact. the fact you got "never talk about aids' impact on gay people, (even though gay black people exist, and would thus be affected disproportionately, making them the most vulnerable gay people affected by AIDS anyway,) ever until the end of time," from that just sounds like willful ignorance at this point.
i mean honestly. you can see somebody talk about their own community's suffering and subjugation, and how it's been ignored for centuries, and because it's not pandering to our whiteness and the intentionally vague "all lives matter" logic, it's somehow an attack on XYZ, every time.
if a black person points out anti-blackness in white gays, it's homophobic, even if they're also lgbt. if a black person points out anti-blackness in white-dominated autistic circles, they're ableist, even if they're autistic. rinse and repeat. it's never "white people are racist," even though that's the obvious takeaway if you used critical thinking for a second.
you really saw "more black people die of aids than all other demographics combined" and decided that fact was homophobic when not presented as palatable & lesser-than. you saw how another community, which also overlaps with your own to create even further marginalized people, has had their own narrative erased from the conversation...by white gay people, especially... and you're like, wow, that's homophobic. stop
