Hi! Sorry to bother you, I just came across this account randomly and I was wondering if I could ask what your process is for making these fic covers? ^^ I've been toying around with making some for my own favorite fics lately, and although I've the ones I've imagined have been in different styles than yours, having some sort of reference might really help.

Hi! Omg, i didn't expect anyone to actually see these ♡ Love that you're creating covers of your faves ♡ Tbh I started creating these for myself because I read a lot and kept getting lost on all my downloads. Initially, the main thing was to color code the background so I could easily identify which ship it was (i.e. my #Rickyl fics are all blue), which I highly recommend if you want to keep them organized. Other than that, not sure what to say. I'm a graphic designer, but for these I just use Canva to create textures, cut-outs and color effects (so all elements look like they belong together). I keep it simple because covers are usually visualized small & on mobile, no use in adding a bunch of tiny elements. And I always try to recreate the vibe of a specific scene in the fic, sometimes an oversized element relevant to the plot (i.e. a plant or a prop) can be cool too rather than just the characters. It's all very subjective. I don't know if any of this helps? ♡ Oh! I use the app Caliber to add the covers to EPUB downloads.
