The original was simultaneously over the top and exquisitely subtle, the character development was brilliant, and the writing was spectacular. There are no substitutions for the 1994 original, no I will not be taking any questions.

do you understand do you understand??? pete used to go and sit on the edge of the riser while patrick played and would just solemnly watch him. alone. then andy joined him ONE TIME and pete pretended he was there every time that he didnt after that. and then joe joined them both. pete isnt sitting back there alone watching patrick perform, joe and andy are with him and it is now a moment of friendship and togetherness instead of what it was before.

like i know thats been the vibe we've seen on stage every night but it's so sweet to know this is intentional and genuine and i hope they know it comes through to the rest of us. we can see them having so much fun and loving each other and loving what they're doing and it fills us with joy too. it's just a positive feedback loop and i'm so glad we get to witness it

Of the behind the scenes facts about Saw I love, the one that hits me the most is James Wan allegedly having to leave the set during the filming of the final scenes because he couldn't stand hearing Leigh Whannell, his best friend, screaming for his life.
