#ok I have opinions about this #Culumbo is included because there are multiple episodes where he gets his guy by framing them #the fact that he's right about them being a murderer doesn't make that not a crime #also he absolutely uses his position as a police officer to get perks he wouldn't otherwise have access too and this is treated as fine #Benoit Blanc on the other hand is quite simply not a cop #He doesn't act like a cop he sometimes works for the cops but he will also work against them if he has a moral obligation to do so #his search for truth is supported or impeaded by the system depending on if the truth is benefits it or not #BBC Sherlock is also not a cop but he is the world's biggest bastard soooo
