I know it mainly happened because of some weird gender stuff (the bad kind of weird gender stuff) in earlier books. But IDW having trans Transformers and a homonormative society as a culture was the coolest shit Transformers has ever done. And I will forever be grateful for it.
Still so funny to me that pretty much every major couple in MTMTE/Lost Light (discounting Drift and Ratchet) had a big size difference. (Cyclonus and Tailgate, Anode and Lug, Chromedome and Rewind) And when put on the spot of who he would have put Rodimus in a relationship if he was to do so James Robert's answer was Roller. Continuing the trend. It's such an interesting quirk of the series. And as someone who is kinda at the lower end of being tall, but always wished to be shorter and have a very tall girlfriend. I totally love it. Truly excellent stuff.
When will the cowards at Hasbro make Anode and Lug toys? The fact that even a 3rd party company hasn't made any (That I can find anyway...if you know of one please let me know lol) is actively annoying me Nickel got a freaking 3rd party toy...but not Anode and Lug? Ridiculous.

Thinking about the crew of the copy Lost Light today. I hope they have incredible adventures, I hope Roddy is happy and loved. I hope they are having so much fun and also I would kill for a Star Trek styled comic book or show about them exploring strange new worlds.
