Betty Cooper: A Ride or Die™
XANDER:
“ i would never !! ” xander chuckles, a hearty laugh following hers. “ well i have to admit you could work on your jokes, but it isn’t the worst i’ve heard. so you’ve got that going for you. ” xander follows her gaze, sensing a shift in her mood. “ everything alright? ”
“yeah right!” of course, there’s a teasing tone in her voice, titlting her head now. “hey, i’m still learning. and when i work on them you then call me,” she moves her fingers under the pretense of showing quotes, “too morbid or too light. you gotta choose,” she sighs now, her mood still there, but it’s more somber. “just... missing home. they would have hated the joke.”
ROMEO:
“Are you implying that I don’t know my own body and it’s limits, because believe me, bro, I’ve seen this body at it’s best and at it’s most broken. It’s not about the external shit, it’s about what’s on the inside that counts.” Lifting a nimble finger, Romeo tapped the digit against his temple, his gaze steady on the male before him. “That shit is what matters most. And of course I’m gonna drink, I’m propped at your bar, ain’t I? Whiskey, straight up… with a beer. Bottled.”
“maybe, considering you haven’t order yet and my boss is probably going to chaste me about it. i can’t have people at the bar when they aren’t buying,” now that was blantly lie to get the other to buy alcohol. his boss doesn’t care but he does. he cares about surviving, and right now, he wants cash to keep his dingy apparment until he can get better. but now, the other is talking his language. “well, all you seem to do is talk, so how about we get it going?” there’s a smirk now, and a tilt of head. “bottled. you don’t trust this humble man?”
MAX:
“no judgement here.” Max would tell the girl, laughing at her joke. it did not matter to her that the joke was bad. “it’s the best joke i ever heard in my life so yes it was good.” She smiles at her and can see something was wrong.
“okay, i was just making sure,” there’s still a laugh left in her voice but, she pauses, when the girls talks, and then laughs some more before she breaths, “sorry, just thinking of home,” the word is still foreign. home is not longer close.
“look man, it’s really simple. you’ve got to know how your body works and how far it’ll take you, you’re the one in control, you’re the one that decides, not your brain or whatever. you get to pick, not your enviroment,” perhaps, he’s spend too much time around other drinks who believe that they can always stop and control, but that’s far from the truth. “now, are you going to drink or not?”
“don’t judge me, come on.” the small silver head is still laughing. even when the joke wasn’t very good to begin with. but, look, it was also funny, and the girl couldn’t help but laugh. "it was good, don’t you dare tell me it wasn’t,” the issue here, is her sensivility to others feelings. and even when she’s oversensitive to earth’s standars, it’s just a bitter remind of back home. so her eyes, can’t help but water at the thought of home. and suddendly she’s not laughing anymore, just smiling into the distance.

BASIL:
“Do you believe in ghosts?” basil spoke from across the bar counter with a light smirk and brown glass in his hand. “I mean aliens are real.” his smirk only grew more mischievously.
“there’s no scientific explanation for ghosts, at least with aliens, the universe is too big for yo-us to be alone.”
AUTUMN:
“Shit,” the brunette muttered pushing back her long curls and looked around in her purse before groaning whilst still searching. “Fuck,” she cursed shaking her head and not caring who had heard. she looked up at the person and shrugged lightly. “Have you seen a red lipstick, around here?”
behati is more than used to the curse words that make their way out of the girls mouth, she doesn’t care, everyone can say whatever the fuck they want, as long as they know that sometimes, they aren’t correct to use. but once, she realizes that the brunette is speaking to her, she looks up, “no, sorry...” bu she looks around the floor, and other surfaces just in case. "was it an important lipstick?” the word sounds foreign on the girls lips. still learning the use of their words.
BASIL:
“Do you believe in ghosts?” basil spoke from across the bar counter with a light smirk and brown glass in his hand. “I mean aliens are real.” his smirk only grew more mischievously.
“ghosts? now that’s just absourd. how can ghosts be real? ‘aliens’ as you call us, is just a term constructed by your society, you’re brand new man, haven’t been around for long. and, you’re fragile as fuck, it’s a miracle you’ve lasted this long.”
SABRINA
walking down the street with her two younger sisters in front with ice cream cones in their hands. sabrina took her eyes off of them for a second to check her phone to see if work needed her when she looked up noticing they had ran into someone. “I am sorry. Girls, apologize.” She said softly looking down and eyeing the two girls who apologized without hesitation.
there’s a small roll of eyes when the two girls bump into him, by mistake, he realizes, but he can feel but be annoyed. even more when he realizes that it’s sabrina’s little sisters, because now, he has to make sure that his mark is covered so the other doesn’t see it. but he smiles down to the girls ( he might be cruel but with kids it’s completely different ) and just shakes his head. “it’s whatever. as long as it doesn’t happen again, we’re good.”
