‘no, i don’t need help! i have this situation under control! this tree is MY bitch.’ teddy huffed towards the other as he helplessly hung from his feet after getting in a quarrel with the whomping willow. now he and anyone with eyes could clearly tell the boy did not have this under control but his pride wouldn’t let him have it any other way.
james stood there looking at teddy before bursting out laughing. “yeah, buddy,” he agreed, “you totally have it under control. though, i think dad might kill me if i let you die so want to come down now?”
"Are those fake vampire teeth in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?" he said with a smirk. “You look good by the way.”

“Pfft, I wasn’t!” He gave a small huff, but still sheepishly smiled. “We should figure out a study plan for you. I mean, if you ever wanted.”
James hummed, “Will this study plan help me pass my NEWT’s at the end of the year? If so, I might be appealed to go along with this crazy plan of yours.”

James made a face, “I’m sure plenty people do, Lil.” He snorted when she brought up how big their family was, “Ain’t that the truth.” He hummed, “That sounds good. And I won’t have to bully anyone about treating you right. Me? Oh, I’m going with Lupin.”

Before giving him an answer she gave a frown, more to herself than anything. She hadn’t noticed anyone trying to get her attention. Setting the book of runes down, she smiled kindly. “Je suis désolé, I hadn’t noticed anyone. This is actually mine, but I did see the same one, over there.” She pointed to the right, where a pile of books was on top of the desk in front of the bookshelfs that lined the walls.
“Oh, sorry,” he said with a sheepish smile. “I’m not one for books or reading at all, but if I don’t do anything I won’t graduate.”

The library was deserted, something that called out to her. She settled herself between two lounge chairs near the restricted section. As she was starting the get enveloped in the story, someone came up and spoke. Leone looked up questionably.
“Hi love, finally got your attention, did I?” he said with a smile. “Sorry, I just wanted to see if you were done with that book?”

Lily simply let out a snort, as if calling her a horror was going to make her stop. She took another bite and furrowed her brow at him. “I don’t even know why I try talking to you about this.”
James sighed, knowing his pie was lost. He leaned back in his seat. “Sorry, Lils, you know I’m shit at fashion. I’m sure it wouldn’t be weird if you wore trousers or something. You got a date yet?”

“Oh no James, I’m not playing Quidditch.” she laughed and gave him a playful shove “Listen you, I’ve managed to dodge playing the sport my whole life despite all my brothers and my dad playing it and if they can’t convince me then you certainly can’t” she smirked “Besides, you’d have an advantage and that’s cheating”
“I’ll go easy on you, McLaggen,” he said with a grin. “How come you’ve dodged the sport so much, hm? Are you scared of flying or something?”
