An excerpt from the notes of a fanfic I'm writing

While she's effectively merciless with her Followers, Shamura knows best that she acts differently with her true family. Growing up before The Crown, she was bullied often for being a smaller toad than most of her peers. Her parents did nothing because they thought that it would encourage her to be faster and a better hunter to compensate for it. They weren't completely wrong, because the lack of love and food made her stubborn, loud, and noxious. She scraped by, intimidating smaller toads into giving her their food, but she didn't actually become a faster, better hunter. When she found the crown one morning, she vowed that she wouldn't go hungry or let anyone bully her ever again. It took nearly a decade for Shamura to convince her that she was loved by her new family. She did a lot of self-reflection when she met Kallamar, when his reaction to her forcefulness was genuine fear.

Mulan AU where she does get caught by the other fresh recruits while she's bathing but Mushu helps her spin it like the lake is cursed by an evil lizard demon and will turn men into women if they stay in it for too long.

From there it's not actually difficult to get the other soldiers onboard with covering up the fact that poor Ping took one for the team and got afflicted by the vagina curse, especially since it would have been all of them if they hadn't gotten the warning ahead of time. So they agree to help him cover it up, because obviously the army's not going to understand.

Shang is... tentatively glad that the men are bonding and getting along, even if they continue to be deeply weird about it.

Why do people say that the Pokémon Hypno is a pedophile?

I really don't understand why that rumor or headcanon started.

And before you say "But Hypno kidnaps children!!", its Pokédex entry says "This Pokémon eats people's dreams; children's dreams are its favorites because they are sweeter". This means that Hypno only hypnotizes them so he can feed himself.

It has also been seen in anime how he usually hypnotizes people, either for self-defense or for friendly play.
