hey guys, i'm alive kind of... well maybe in the next couple of days. i just wanted to come and apologize for being such a crap admin to you guys, real life issues just came up and beat the crap out of me u u it's slowly getting better so i am hoping to start doing stuff again in the week coming up! sorry for being such a butt head sobs. pls tell me if you wanna continue our paras if we have some going and i'll reply to them this week to get the ball rolling again

the phone vibrated in his back pocket, the world around him becoming faded as his attention was lost entirely to the name he knew would flash up on the screen. the words of the commissioner were forgotten - only words like 'dangerous' and 'highly unstable' broke through. wonsik stood at the back of the large briefing room - his body crushed by the other swat team members around him that listened patiently the orders like soldiers going to war. when wonsik pulled his phone from his pocket and saw hak in capital letters across the screen he quickly excused himself - missing out on the ending of a sentence as he shut the door behind him and pressed accept. he hadn't even said hello before the voice of his thief started on the other end. "i was in a briefing about it just not --" he frowned as he stared across at the frantic office workers taking phone calls though a glass door. "where are you? are you alright?" his deep voice was warm and firm as he asked hakyeon a question he'd rarely think about saying. he understood the dangers the other would be in now that the joker had escaped and it was enough to make ravi swallow a lump in his throat. "i can come if you need me--"

oh i don't think i could take the spotlight away from you even if i tried -- (` his words were playful and sharp underneath the mask the other could have pulled off at any moment to gauge his eyes out with those long claws that gave deadshoot goosebumps. the assassin took a step onto the edge of the building as let the thief go ahead of him, shifting to put his rifle back into its place on his back as he watched the cat's elegant decent down. eyebrows arched as he caught the gaze of the one below him. those words were a challenge to ravi and he wanted to show up the thief who enjoyed rubbing his fur the wrong way ) no need to wait ! (` he called down before following the other. deadshot was not graceful, he climbed down the same way as hakyeon but it was loud and echoed his muscles and body mass. when he landed on the ground it was with a solid thud, his breath uneven under the mask ) you...(` he needed to take a deep breath and motioned to the building across the road ) you first!

it seemed to happen so fast, in one moment he was calmly watching the penguin thugs pile the crates into unmarked trucks and in the next he found himself staring at lifeless, fur covered forms on the slippery docks. deadshot pulled the rifle from his back and with elbows propped against the railings he aimed. through the scope he saw much carnage, but the first thing he saw was the wave of the gun and that extremely horrific clowns mask that made wonsik's lips curl up into a growl with gritted teeth. "fucking clowns---" the crackling of the radio caught wonsik of guard, his brow pushing further down as he was addressed - his grip tightening around his gun. that smug voice leaving the hairs on the back of his neck lifting like static. it had such a familiar ring to it. but fuck no was deadshot going to join the other among the corpses of the unsuspecting penguins. "penguin doesn't actually pay me until i complete the job so---" his tone was light, giving a small shrug in response to the clown. "thank you, thank you so much for making sure i receive nothing for freezing my ass this past hour," the sarcasm dripping from his response did not even have to be forced. "i'm guessing you're more interested in me rather than them, though."

if he wasn't on duty, if this girl hadn't just tried to steal from panicked store worker and pissed customer, he would have praised her for that witty remark. instead wonsik's face remained unchanging, his gaze shifting to the two adults for a moment in a second of thought before he replied. "good," that was all he said, giving a small nod and letting go of her arm. "i'll take her off your hands now, she'll be given the right punishment for her crime --" "she better!" the customer shot back, meaty arms crossing. ravi had to stop himself from rolling his eyes right into the back of his head. he'd only been in the presence of this man for three minutes and already he couldn't be more ready to be rid of a witness. instead he acted like he'd never heard the man, nodding towards the store clerk before turning his attention back to the girl. "let's go then--" with a motion he asked her to follow him, taking the head but making sure she was still in reach if she ever tried to run. he held the door open for the both of them to exit - his nose wrinkling up at the cold air that nipped at it. and to think that this girl was living out in this -weather where all you want to do is stuff your face and enjoy yourself. he openly sighed at that thought, his frown deepening as he glanced down at her. "... what's your name, kid?

( `/ he doesn’t mind at all if the other doubts his crossbow’s usefulness. it’s served him well many a time, people underestimating the idea that a child of his age [ with a weapon that admittedly sometimes could look like a child’s playtoy ] could possibly be a deadly killer. but he is a deadly killer, and the people who underestimate often tend to regret it — in their graves. silently, he lowers the crossbow, slipping the black mask on over his eyes again, tugging his hood over his head, and it’s like he disappears in that moment, melting back into the shadows, though there’s no risk of being caught, not in the black mask headquarters. ) don’t test my patience, sikkie. ( `/ his voice is sugary sweet and a little deadly as he fiddles with his crossbow, unloading the current bolt he’d had in there and replacing it for something else. ) ( `/ the journey down to the shooting range is a little tense, a little odd, and jeongguk would be lying if he said he didn’t want to shoot a bolt into kim wonsik’s pretty little head — but that would make hakyeon sad, and if there’s one thing jeongguk doesn’t like, it’s hakyeon sad. unfortunate, really. ) whether or not you believe me, my finger could accidentally… slip. (` wonsik's response was a twisted smile, unamused by the other's threats and the use of that name still coming from jeongguk's lips. just as ready as jeongguk was to shooting an arrow into wonsik's thick skull, ravi was so, so, keen to shoot a couple of toes off the child so he walked weird for the rest of his life. that twisted smile becoming less twisted with the image of the young assassin always leaning to the right and waddling. it gave him strength as he followed him into the room, shutting the door behind them ) welll -- (` he began, his voice trailing off with the echoing around the long empty room - taking a second to flick the light switch and watch the room be engulfed in an eery yellow light ) time to impress me with that toy of yours, kitty cat (` wonsik replied, amusement in his voice and a grin behind that mask as he placed himself against the back wall. watching the other and waiting for this skillful show ) i'll bring you up a target -- (` without moving, ravi flicked open the compartment built into the wall, pressing certain buttons to light up one of the ranges - watching a old and constantly repaired man made of potato sack and straws be dragged out along the overhead railing ) go for it !

he laughed at the volume of his sisters voice and how it raised a few octaves at his sudden attack (unknown if it was out of amusement at that middle finger or if it was utter relief that he'd missed her.) "you don't trust me sis??" wonsik's voice was laced with amusement, his elbows pushing harder into the snow and cold concrete ground. "they don't say i'm a good shot for nothin'--" at the sudden mention of a certain someone, his lips thinned - head tilting more to press harder against the phone and keep it in place. "now -- that's not a nice thing to say hyuna," his voice became softer, almost as if the man was truly offensive about what had been said (he even added in a little gasp for dramatic effect.) "look i know you want me to break up with him - but you know i have enough love for the both of you! we're here now, aren't we? having a good time shooting whatever - whoever - we want." the hitman explained this as he shifted a hand inside of his parka pocket and pulled out an extra scope - idly fixing it back into place on his sniper.

there was a low laugh that echoed from ravi, despite the hopeless situation ahead of them. "we do not have enough handcuffs for this," he confirmed, amusement dripping off his tongue still from the boy hero's question. however, as the situation loomed his expression became dull once more - professional with a defined frown on his brow. "this is going to get messy - and to be honest some may end up needing body bags rather than handcuffs..." this was his reply to the others next question, and he trailed off with the sounds of the riots echoing through the chaotic city. death was so normal in this city that ravi came to believe you could build a small hydro plant based on all the blood shed. he sighed at that image and reached over to give janus a firm pat on the shoulder. "you can let me deal with that okay?" hero or not -- he was still too young to deal with killing another, in wonsik's opinion at least. he gave a small nod in the direction of the hero before putting his gun back into place on his hip and instead tugged the thick black neck collar of his undershirt up over mouth and nose followed by the tinted black goggles over tired eyes. it was for his own safety as he took one of the few small tear gas grenades from his waist. wonsik left the comfort of their hiding place to enter the bitter battlefield of gotham on that night. the voices of rioters loud and echoing. the officer waited no time in pulling the key from the fuze and rolling the fuming metal ball into the distant crowd as if his true passion in life was lawn bowels and not shooting guns for a living. the gas began to shroud the area and that tight crowd of people a meter away began to space out into little black figures. "be careful of the gas--" wonsik's low voice was muffled underneath his makeshift mask, glancing again at janus when he activated the second grenade and tossed it into the crowd. "it'll be easier for us and the others to pick them off."
» UNACCEPTABLE
a small, very irritated, part of wonsik was not surprised to see the other in his tight leather suit and the cold persona that fit him better than a tailor made suit. his attention turning away from the street and to the one that had cut short his building focus and his teeth gritted beneath the mask with jaw clenching. slowly his grip on the gun loosened so the hitman could sit up properly and glance over his shoulder. "this is my job. i know what i am doing hakyeon," he shot back the remark with such a firm tone, deadshot knew what was on the line. "i'm not stupid enough to fail this mission," there was a lot on the line for kim wonsik. if he had just stayed away from the black mask maybe it wouldn't have mattered and he would still be following the penguin around with his sister. but he had decided to go back, for hardly professional reasons (hardly professional reasons that he felt quite strongly about.) this was his only chance to prove his worth. "i still have thirty minutes till he shows, and that gives you thirty minutes to get out of here --" was he trying to be rude? no. but there was something about deadshot that needed isolation, abandonment. wonsik couldn't work with others around him, let alone the one he lived and breathed to please. for a moment he glanced back towards the street, watching the emergence of a few thugs from an alleyway but vanish again into the shadows between the street lights. "i don't need you babysitting me, i'd focus better if you'd go..."
» SUCKER PUNCH
lungs were burning, beneath the mask his mouth was gaping - panting for air as his legs slowly felt the ache of running. he'd been caught off guard, right at the critical moment of his kill - when the breath caught in his throat and his upper lip trembled and curled into a wicked grin. the sudden ambush caused him to shoot the fat government official in the ear - although blood had began to pour it was not the desired amount. then he was not only left in an unsatisfactory situation but also came face to face with someone he knew well - but someone who would not know him underneath the thick mask. so maybe this is why ravi decided to run when he found himself challenged with janus, if that mask came off in a struggle the man would loose his secret identity for good. the rifle hit against his back at every jump, every quick turn, attempting to escape the young hero's line of sight. but in the sudden panic he had lost himself in the large city. he was screwed. in no time at all he found himself scaling down a fire escape, but instead of turning out onto the street deadshot came face to face with a brick walled dead end and the hero was still hot on his tail. at this point there was two things he could do. fight or flight, and the man was too prideful to fly. "... fuck"
» MALFUNCTION
this little old apartment building beside crime alley was exactly the location wonsik was going, heading up the flew flights of stairs to reach one of the doors with its fading number plate. if he was going to get a gun from anyone and quick, it would be the man inside that apartment. during wonsik's time as a valued gun for the insane clown in the asylum; he had come to taehyung as payment. even though deadshot hated the joker on simple personal preference, he could not deny those beautiful and unique guns that had been handed to him in his fresher days as a hitman. he would be lying if he didn't think taehyung was a good crafts men. he would surely be able to hook deadshot up - an i.o.u note would hopefully be acceptable (due to certain circumstances of a fucking frozen man taking over the place.) deadshot's hand curled into a fist and he rammed it against the door - unaware that he would be meeting a very busy and very on the move blacksmith in seconds flat. "v! open up i need a gun--!"
