ravi offered a thin lipped smile at his ‘compliment’

he watched the way the other’s long and dark fingers coiled around the material he’d just received. the simplistic and onyx black woolen scarf pooling in his lap from the corner he held onto.

the cop’s gesture to keep him warm in the colder nights didn’t seem enough. either the fawn eyed burglar was too coy to accept his gift, or he really disliked anything under a hundred dollars.

either way, ravi knew he could turn hak’s opinion around.

'doesn't even look like real wool… i could have stolen something better'

'but its warm,' ravi tried to urge hakyeon to crack his shell.

'i doubt it.'

'… so you don't want it.'

'no.'

there was a quiet moment, when the sharp shooters arm shifted in its position on the back of the couch and his finger tips brushed through the burglar’s soft and dark hair.

'then… perhaps i can keep you warm some other way-'

dark pupils dilated, and ravi’s fingers curled around strands of hair as he was pulled close - warm lips coming together in a kiss. passionate enough but slow enough to curl long fingers around the corner of that woolen scarf.

pulling away left the taste of butterscotch and caffeine on hakyeon’s tongue in a buzz of flustered skin. and he wanted to glare daggers into the skin of kim wonsik for doing that. 

but he couldn’t go through with it. ravi had, after all, pleased him.

'was that better, hak?'
