You ended up having a child assigned to help you. A small girl, shrouded in black. She was cute, or at least what you could see of her face was, though the stuffed cat she carried with her was in desperate need of help, practically falling apart at the seams.
You said nothing, though, and followed the fortune teller to the souvenir shop. She instructed you to buy something, insisting that it would be needed to retrieve your friend. Ugh. Was all this just a scam to get you to buy something? You decided to trust the small girl, though, as you weren’t exactly in any position to be picky, were you?
Deciding on some stupid stuffed tiger, you paid and followed as the barefoot chile lead you back to the mirror maze. While walking, you decided to try and calm your panic with some small talk. “ S-so what exactly is in the mirror maze?” You received no response, however, as the girl just continued on her way.
Reaching the mirror maze, you were instructed to say the name Husk three times to any chosen mirror. Hah! Of course something like this would be summoned in a way similar to bloody Mary. Still, you followed the instructions given to you.
You followed every step carefully, obeying the child to the letter. It was almost over. Your friends hand was in yours, and the creature was taking the tiger toy you’d bought, the item having been for a trade. It was then that the child instructed you to pull your friend from the mirror, and to do it quickly.
You didn’t need to be told twice! Pulling with all your might, you fell to the ground. However, unfortunately in your arms wasn’t your friend as you remembered them. Rather, all that was left of them. A torn up, mangled arm. Having gone into a state of shock, you couldn’t hear the girl say something about it being a pity you weren’t fast enough. You didn’t even hear your own sobbing. All you could hear was that awful voice, whispering sweetly into your ear.
“What kind of a leader are you?”
Hey! Bet y’all thought I got kidnapped by Husk or something! XD But nope. College has just been kicking my butt lately. Ahhh, but it feels so good to be back with my precious circus.
I didn’t clarify the steps to get someone back from Husk in this chapter because then it would have been REALLY long. However, I’ll add them here.
[[ How to get someone back from Husk: Similar to bloody mary or baby blue eyes, you can summon him by saying his name three times to a mirror in his mirror maze. It is best to have a staff member with you while you summon him, as his state of mind is rather unpredictable.
His arms ( elbows to hands) will appear in the mirror. The staff member will then instruct you to place half your hand inside the mirror, palm up. This may sound weird, but when Husk is summoned he will allow you to enter your hand into his mirror.
In your right palm, you must have a gift for him. This may be anything, from a candy to a toy. Your left hand must be empty. Do not move from this position until directed to do so by the staff member. His left hand will move to take the gift from your right hand. His right hand will guide the right hand of the person he kidnapped to your empty left hand.
At this point the staff member will direct you to quickly pull your friend from the mirror, as if Husk dislikes the gift you have given him he will attempt to pull both you and your friend through the mirror if your friend has not exited the mirror completely.
If your friend treated him well, then you will pull out a whole body, completely as they were before he kidnapped them. However, if they didn’t treat him well, they may be maimed, missing limbs, and at some points people have only retrieved arms, from hand to elbow in length.
The state of your friend all depends on how quickly you get help, and how they treated Husk. ]]

Also, Husk may get a separate blog from Aro, as the circus is so very dear to me, and I’d like to keep Husk separate from Aro since they’re so different. But we’ll see, ya?

Age: He appears to be in his mid-twenties, but his actual age is unknown.
Facts:
- he was human at one point in his life.
- He was supposed to get married, until his fiance was abducted and then brutally murdered just days before their wedding.
- He already had experience with sword dancing, since it was something that his mother had taught him during his childhood.
- The brooch belonged to his fiance, and it’s something he keeps close to him at all times.
- though he puts on a strong front, he’s actually vulnerable. his fiance’s death had already broken him once. And years of staying in the circus has only damaged him even more.
- the reason why his mouth has been stitched shut is that he had gotten into trouble with one of the other staff members. and since he can’t eat, he’s actually pretty weak, though he doesn’t show it. ( only the person who did this to him can remove the threads for him. if anyone else did, then he and that person would be punished. )
- usually keeps to himself and wanders around the area on his own
- he has a soft spot for little children.
