lux cocked her head to the side taking in the description he had given about himself, the amused smile never leaving her lips. it didn’t sound too wrong, however, she assumed ‘not cocky’ was an overstatement. “interesting,” she noted, adjusting the bag that was slung over her shoulder. “I wouldn’t have pegged you for thoughtful.”
Alexander eyed her features, trying hard to figure out what she had even thought of him. When she replied with a single word, he glared at her. “ I N T E R E S T I N G ?? Was that all you could thin of saying ?? “ He mumbled under his breath, “ Well, like I said, you don’t know me. It takes some time to get to know a guy like me. “

lux’s smirk grew into more of an amused smile and less of a menacing look. “are you giving me that philosophical crap just because you can’t think of any redeeming qualities off the top of your head?”
A single brow arched up, feeling as if this girl was challenging him. With a huff and a puff he had decided to give in and just brag about himself ( which wasn’t so difficult for him. ) “I’m a fucking loyal friend, just a loyal person in general. I’m nice, I swear and I’m fucking thoughtful and compassionate. I’m confident; not cocky, I know how to keep a balance. I’m so dope when I’m high. I’m generous, honest, spontaneous, adventurous. I think those are my main qualities..- I raised myself good.”

lux paused, deciding she had a minute or two to spare, a crooked but playful smirk appearing on her face. “what are they, then? your qualities. the redeeming ones. make it believable.”
Alexander contemplated whether he should even bother telling her anything about himself. What were his qualities? His morals & priorities? “You can’t get to know a person by just asking them what they are like. It takes time to get to know a person. I wouldn’t be able to place you on what you told me about yourself either. Actions speaks louder than words.”

His eyebrows knit together, turning around as he kept his eyes fixed on the frame. “If you actually knew me, you’d know that’s not my only quality.”
If all of this pain has taught me anything, it’s that when shit gets rough you’re all you’ve got.

“ mijo , you take longer than i do to get ready . ” ivette was chilling in the younger boy’s flat , playing with a plush football that she’d won at one of the stalls at the festival . they’d decided to go to a club that afternoon and respectively went home to change ; although it’d been twenty minutes since ivette had let herself in and alex was naught to be found. “ alex come on . ” taking a mild offence to the male not being ready , ivette raided his fridge to find something to drink . grabbing one of the two energy drinks she saw , she popped the tab and headed to where alex’s room was , knocking rapidly on the door . “ pendejo, que haces ?? ”
alexander knew that ivette could have arrived at anytime and he really tried to hurry up: especially at the point he heard her voice echoeing through his apartment. but instead he spotted some weed on his desk and decided he needed a hit or ten. Half dressed, the brunette sat on the edge of his bed as he devoured himself completely in the joint. however, at the sound of knocking on his bedroom door and her voice being much closer, alex’s bloodshot eyes widened, pushing it out & finally reacing for his shirt and jacket to pull on. “ Just a second, baby girl. ” He coughed out, waltzing over to his mirror to fix his snapback. When he decided he looked good enough, he walked back towrds the door, wavng his hands around to get rid of most of the smoke, pulling the door open. “ You could’ve just walked in, you know. ” He spoke whilst spritzing a load of his strong scented cologne all over himself. “ It takes time to look this good. ” He chuckled, throwing the parfume bottle on his bed and reacing for his phone and keys. Walking towards the opening of his door, he playfully bumped his shoulder against the girl. “ Give me a sip. ” He said, leaning down to her level as awaited a sip of the energy drink.

Annie rolled her eyes playfully and swatted his hand away when he brushed her cheek with his finger. “Vodka’s gross. Hard liquor in general is gross. I like my high-end wines and champagnes.” She looked up at him, flashing Alex a winning smile. “I am optimistic all the time, thank you very much, but even if I wasn’t, pessimism would suit me just as well. And you, by the way, should know better than to buy lemonade from a place like this. I thought you were classier than that, Alex. Where have your upper-class mannerisms gone, hm?”
A light chuckled fell from his brightly parted brims, “Have you ever tasted the sweet taste of Baileys, cause I’m sure it could change your mind. Jack Daniell’s is trash, though, I would call that gross as well.” He spoke, looking around at all different kinds of crowds this festival offered a good time to. “I rarely hear of your optimism, pessimism is what seems to get you going, babe.” The male sniffed at the sugary yellow substance as soon as the girl has brought it up, before squatting down and placing the cup down politely. “I only bought it for the sake of buying. It looks like it would give me instant diabetes.” Having free hands to finally light up his cigarette, his eyes rolled at the inquiry of his mannerisms. Taking a deep inhale from the stick, he took his time with replying ( almost avoding the question. ) “I’m trying this thing called ‘blending in’, I don’t know if you ever heard of it. But, the lemonade was over the top, I admit.” queue the inhaling more nicotine. “But it was some kind of attempt. Why are you asking? Do you not like the casual version of me? Do you want me back in my suits already?” He spoke playfully, unnoticeably blowing his smoke down at the petite frame.
