Vacation feels sooooo good after the most stressful week ever. Staying in Surfer's Paradise, got upgraded to a super deluxe room and champagne was on sale. Can't get any better than this <3

Generating color palettes makes writing film papers worth it. (Screenshots from Charles Chauvel's Jedda and Baz Luhrmann's Australia.)
Numbers and Figures
19 when i left, 20 departed with 20 new friends and 100 new memories
85 days waiting after 19 months with you for 7 days together
4 visitors (1 unexpected) 4 final assignments (1 unstarted)
15 field trips: 3 sisters 2 tents 1 bus 4 months: not enough 4 cups of coffee: too much 3 flights for pleasure 2 flights to come home 14 (15, 16) hour time change 15 (16) days till christmas
Awesome sunset right outside of Central Station. Still amazed at the natural beauty of this country.
Burgers, beer, boyfriend, beach: bliss <3
Took a field trip to Cabramatta, just outside of Sydney with my World Lit class to eat some Vietnamese food and talk about multiculturalism in modern Australia. Yum!
Another dining adventure at O Bar on the 47th floor of a building in the heart of Sydney. Indescribable food, old money, awesome wine and an unbeatable view.
Dined at the Intercontinental in Sydney which I had reservations for for about 3 months now. We had High Tea (more delicious food than I could've possibly eaten in one sitting) with espresso martinis which I swear were made of dreams.
Just booked my final trip to the Gold Coast & Melbourne!
I've made amazing friends and seen things I never thought I would. Looking forward to one final trip, looking forward to Christmas at home, but first we're gunna live it up here in Sydney! (Oh, and finals I guess.)
Doesn't get much better than this. (How's the snow back in NJ?)
The bank's tree is the biggest here too...
Taken at Lord Nelson. Doesn't it just bring a tear to your eye?
The farmer played & sang all of these while the group sat around a campfire. Awesome experience.
Gone Bush!
This weekend, NYU took us to the outback (Western Central NSW). Stayed on a farm, threw a boomerang, sheered a sheep, got a hayride and explored some radical caves. So awesome.
Chinese Garden of Friendship, Darling Harbour
So peaceful, even with the small children dressed up as geishas and their photo-happy parents.
From way up here [on the Sydney Tower Eye], life seems so small. Everything I've explored seems small (but do I really walk that far every day?).
YASSSSSS CHRISTMAS YASSSSSSSSS
