My final dn&co presentation. Iām glad with how the project turned out. The green definitely ended up being a good change, as did the pattern.
My final posters for Digbeth. I layered some popular Digbeth graffiti over a 1700ā²s map of Digbeth. In the front I have line art of popular buildings in the area.
Bit of a change to the color and pattern. The magenta was a bit too overbearing, and I imagine it wouldnāt resonate with the blacksmiths and industrialists of Digbeth, so I made is a light green. I tried to keep it as far from environmental looking as I could. I also edited the pattern, as the sawtooth roof look was lost in the previous pattern. Here, it looks like rows of factory roofs.
My first T-shirt design for Digbeth.Ā
Iāve developed a wordmark that will accompany the main logo. The wordmark will serve as the personality behind the brand, and the logo mark will serve as the identifier. Iāve also created a pattern for the brand to be used on clothing and accessories.
Have my logo typeface and body type picked out, but unsure about color. Blue looks too corporate, and green too environmental, so it will likely be magenta. The two grey blocks represent the industrial side of Digbeth, with the pop of color representing the artistic side. The whole thing is an angled view of sawtooth factory roofing.
Some research for our Digbeth branding project. I was immediately inspired by the sawtooth roofs. While exploring on Apple Maps in 3d mode I came across a certain angle that became my main inspiration for the project.
