i see you // audrey & trent
Audrey ran a hand through her hair, and one over her face quickly. She wasn’t going to show anyone that she was intimated by the fact that her ex-boyfriend was here. With one last chug, she finished her beer and headed back outside. A group of Eric’s friends, Trent included, were taking shots. Feeling left out, she came up behind Eric and clapped a hand on his shoulder. “What? None for me?” she grinned, leading to him pouring her a shot. “Tequila, my favorite.” she smirked, hoping she was faking her confidence as well as she thought. Closing her eyes, she poured back the shot glass and felt the alcohol burn the back of her throat. Mason smirked and handed her a chaser but she shook her head. “Do I look like a little bitch?” she laughed, shaking her head.
Trent took a deep breath and turned away from the crowd once Audrey joined them. He should have known that he wouldn't be able to handle it once she was around. However, before he could run away, Adasia was by his side, shot glass replaced by a bottle of beer. “Here. You look like you could use this.” She whispered, handing it to him. With a pat on the back, the redhead left his side to go hang out with some of Eric’s friends. Taking a sip of the beer, the boy returned his attention back to his friends. No. Audrey would not get the best of him.
“C’mon guys. We gotta liven this party up a bit. Did we all forget how to have a good time?” As he spoke, he looked Audrey directly in the eye, a smirk on his face. He could always fake it, right? Don’t let the fear show. This time, he took a rather large swig of his beer. Audrey wouldn’t get the best of him. He wouldn’t spend another day moping around thanks to her.
