She took the carrots and set them to the side for the stew to be prepared. “This is what we do need from the fridge, the milk, there is some celery and the bread. We need the loaf of bread”
She started with filling the pot with water and setting on the stove to start…
With the sound of loud chopping coming straight from behind her. Winry turned around and have a heavy sigh and a shake of the head. “You Silly boy, that’s not how you cut vegetables” she walked over taking his hands, carful of the swinging knife. “Like this” she said softly and showed him a slow and easy pace to cut the vegetables with.
"You have to be carful with knives, you don’t want to get hurt after all. I would be sad if you got hurt"
"But why not?" he asked. As long as they were cut, it should be fine, right? Besides, he was having fun hacking them up like that.
But then he smiled at the way she sounded like she really cared about him, even if he giggled a little that she thought something like that would actually cause him serious injury. “I’d be alright,” he informed her cheerfully, pleased at the way she was holding his hand to teach him like he really was her child.
She smiled "I still want you to be carful. No matter what I want you safe" she informed him keeping her hands on his showing him how to Carfully cut the vegetables.
After a minute she let go and grab some more vegetables. "Would you like to try on your own now?" She asked keeping that same sweet smile on her face as she helped him.
