Confessions should contain a fandom topic and a gender critical element. Ex. "I'm sick of seeing gender headcanons for X character."
I will also post confessions that are critical of:
Misogyny/sexism in fandom.
Fetishization of same-sex relationships.
Erasure of sexual orientations.
Hyper-sexualized/p0rnographic content.
P0rnbots/AI
The transing of history.
Racist trans rhetoric.
[More may be added to this list over time, so feel free to send something in if you're not sure].
Please avoid:
Using slurs or other extremely derogatory language. If such language is relevant to your confession (ex. the gender fandom called you, a favorite character, or a creator a slur for xyz reasons) some self-censorship would be appreciated so this blog doesn't get immediately deleted.
Targeting specific users. You may send links to posts that frustrate you, but if I receive one from the same account more than once, I will scrub them of the OP's info in order to avoid the formation of online harassment campaigns.
Political issues that are too far off-topic.
Turning the blog into a battleground for ship wars.
Additional thoughts:
Harry Potter fans who would like to discuss the series without condemning J.K. Rowling every other sentence are welcome here!
Hate and troll anons will not be posted.
This post will remain pinned on the blog and may change over time.
I will reblog this post with an explanation of the updated tagging system.
