rogelio was born with weak leg muscles. although he grew normally like any other child, his legs we're not strong and he often needs support, especially when he's tired. since he also spends a lot of time in the forges (or tinkering on his bunk with tiny metal pieces), his eyesight is pretty bad, leading to him needing the aid of glasses at times. rogelio is also partially deaf in one ear.
