why do I never see anyone talking about irina x karasuma???? They're like one of the anime ships that I can get behind cause their relationship feels so genuine and it makes sense for them to get together, and karasuma is like the only man in her life that doesn't treat her like an object to be ogled (unlike other male anime characters with their love interests) but it is still obvious he likes her and is attracted to her (that one episode where she convinces him to let her "kill" him and he lets her). Idk their relationship just seems really sweet and not forced like in a lot of shounen animes.

Why is there like no Yuri? And I hate when people FUCKING ACT like “oh there is yuri there is yuri” YES I KNOW THERE IS YURI, YES I’VE SEEN IT. I KNOW THERE IS. But there is a MINISCULE AMMOUNT of yuri compared to the ammount of straight obviously, and also bl, there is SOOOOO much bl, and it’s like, I love bl, I love to watch bl, but OH MY GOSH. Can we get a LITTLE bit of yuri up in here?

I hate when people try to gaslight us into beliving “oh yeah, actually you guys DO have representation” NO WE FUCKING DO NOT. “Oh look theres this lesbian couple in this one TV show” and its like YEAH. Well that isn’t the FUCKING main focus of the show! I want a fucking ROMCOM that is YURI. I just want that. I want to be able to see it on THE AVERAGE STREAMING SERVICE, and go “oh look, its a romcom yuri. I would love to see that.”

But that doesn’t happen for us. Because we’re the wlw community. We get crumbs. And its like “oh, yeah lets give gay men all the queer representation ” and like ITS FINE IM HAPPY FOR THEM, IM HAPPY FOR THEM, ONCE AGAIN I LOVE BL, but its like, when it comes to wlw rep its like “go girl give us nothing”!! Seriously! And if you EVER want to watch ANY hard yuri its like “oh you have to pirate it. You have to pirate it if you want to watch girls actually kissing.”!

And dont you dare mention a show where girls kiss for attention from boys.

I don’t want solutions that involve me watching something I don’t wanna even watch just because it has yuri in it. I wanna watch things I actually enjoy. The solution I want is for there to be MORE YURI. So glad Girls Like Girls is coming out soon.
