Are there any parts of anatomy you struggle with drawing?

I’m pretty confident in my anatomy. I would say I can’t drawing kissing very well and I hate doing side profiles sometimes 😂. Heads from below or behind can be tricky. It’s important to have a lot of practice and look to references when you’re unsure, but I also tend to do whatever feels the most natural and clear to visualize in my head. The more rigid my process is, the worse my art ends up looking in my opinion.

Okay, since I keep seeing people say variations of this, I’m gonna just address it.

The idea of this picture is how they would draw themselves and their friends, so I really don’t think Eugene would intentionally draw Cass in a gross way, because I think this would be something for Rapunzel and that he could show off😂.

Besides, I believe the movie credits style is his art in universe, and we’ve seen that he draws every girl looking nice and pretty and only really makes himself and mainly men (plus Gothel) have those messy details.

Anyway, that is what the art is based on. Besides, I think Eugene and Cass battle with words too much to believe his way of teasing her would be to draw her with stink lines or fangs😂 just my opinion

I’m pretty sure this was unintentional by the writing team, but the consequence of making so many of Eugene’s lines retroactively Flynn Rider quotes really removes a lot of his personality.

Recently rewatching season 3 and reading the Rise of Flynn Rider got me thinking about how often the natural charisma of the character is oddly turned into him just memorizing a bunch of lines and even an entire personality?

I don’t hate that he loves the books and based a persona on the character, but you’re telling me he isn’t really a naturally funny or clever person? That’s all copying book lines he’s read or assimilating a personality from it?

Maybe I’m thinking about this a little too hard😂 Anyway, I do think the book character was probably charming and witty, and that he was definitely inspired by him/ he definitely memorized some lines, but I really dislike the lazy route of “oh this character talked exactly like Eugene” or “this line was actually a deliberate quote” revisions.

I don’t think many agree with me so I apologize for the ramble lol. Just wanted to get my thoughts out there😂

tbh fascinated by potential dynamics between adira and horace! also potential cass-rapunzel parallels!!

That’s so sweet! I’m going to post more about this au cause I’ve gotten a lot of questions and support, so I’ll answer a little about Adira and Horace here and save the Cass and Raps stuff for another post.

In this Au, Adira was assigned specifically to Horace as a personal guard by Queen Hortencia(my fan name for fitzmom lol) and King Edmund. She basically trained Horace from a young age into a fighter on par with the Brotherhood, until Horace was accepted into the Brotherhood as well.

Hector, Edmund, and Quirin of course also trained Horace, but Adira is as to Horace as Cass is to Raps in this story. Personal Knights and Caretakers. I also imagine she was really close with the queen and while she doesn’t seem like the type to enjoy being a mom or mothering, she did take care of Horace. I think she sees him as a younger coworker/responsibility and treats him as such, even as like a four year old😂. Not motherly.
