Wood Minimalism
As you may have noticed, I am quite minimalist and I love wooden furniture. I created a set with this concept, which is, by the way, very scandinavian. Hope you like it! Wood Minimalism by gemmabosch featuring a retro side table

Swedish expression: “Ingen fara” Coming to Sweden means having to learn Swedish. Maybe you can work in an English-only environment and survive by only speaking English (because everyone here can speak English very well), but if you want to be a part of the Swedish society or show it your respect, I highly recommend you to learn Swedish, or at least some daily life expressions.
Discovering Gothenburg: Slottskogen
Here are some pictures of Slottskogen, the coolest park of Gothenburg. It is situated in the heart of the city and it has a zoo of local animals.

My February Favourites
Hi! I decided to say goodbye to February with a selection of things that made my life easier this month. I don’t like buying a lot of stuff, only practical and useful things, so these things are really what I’ve been wearing and using this February. Turtleneck jumpers This one is from a small store in my hometown and it was a present from my mum. I actually have this one since January but I have…

Scandinavian Style: Long Coats
Scandinavian Style: Long Coats
Wearing long coats is a huge trend here in Sweden. I’ve seen them everywhere in both women and men wear them, during all autumn and winter and even if it is raining or snowing. But, well they don’t seem to care much about the rainy/snowy weather after all. So, you know, if you want to look Scandinavian this is one garment that you should wear! Here’s a set I created in Polyvore about some long…

Bedroom decor: houseplants
As I said in my post Our Cozy Bedroom, I am looking forward to decorate more my bedroom. One thing that I’ve been obsessing about lately is having houseplants. We bought three little cacti in IKEA a while ago and I love them because they’re so cute, but I just want more plants! Maybe some English ivy on the bookshelf or some succulents on the windowsill. What do you guys think? In my Pinterest…

Sweet of the Month: Semla
Sweet of the Month: Semla
Last week, in February 13th, we ate semlor. A semla or semlor (the plural form) is a traditional sweet made in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Estonia, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Latvia and Lithuania. In Sweden they eat them in Shrove Tuesday but you can buy it during all February. It is a wheat bun filled with a mix of milk and almond paste and topped with whipped cream. It is so good! I feel…

Say Yes to Sandals and Socks
Say Yes to Sandals and Socks
Oh yeah, sandals and socks are a must in Sweden. Well, it’s actually a normal thing here, and very practical, but for me it was a cultural shock. For me this combination was a sing of bad taste and being a weird tourist. But I get it swedes!!! Okay, if you don’t already know, here you must take off your shoes when you enter your home, someone else’s home and certain work places (in preschools,…
