Bakugou Katsuki is so important to me Just wanted to archive my thoughts on him :) I like the majority of Katsuki ships (specially tdbk and dkbk) but Katsuki is my priority and I don't like it when shippers mischarcterize him for their ship and treat it like canon. +18. Also I have to add, kudoichi is superior. ATTENTION: I hated the ending and criticize it a lot so if you want to defend the ending I suggest you don't follow me bakugou haters and horikoshi/bones dickriders are NOT welcome here

I sometimes feel like hori draws Bakugo very much more beautiful in deku's pov. Like he's so beautiful in lots of panels but the beauty in panels in deku's pov is very different. There's something painful about it

Anyone with great pr skills can be the number one hero.. The person who has a huge influence on everyone/everywhere and can apply their ideals on society easily. Now imagine if the ideals are corrupted or "evil".

Yes the new one is based on fan-service more, because we had endeavor randomly pushing a kid (inasa) to the ground in front of everyone and he still remained number 2, but Katsuki rightfully yelled at a reporter who was treating danger like a joke and was dropped 10 places? And the thing is that the society is aware of how much Katsuki has done for them years ago, so a yelling has turned them see him less heroic even though he has died for them and has sacrificed a lot for their country? Because if the chart does not mean "who is more heroic" then why is it called hero ranking?

I mean if hori was trying to say the society hasn't changed, then he has succeeded. I mean Mirio being number one instead of heros who literally fought to death and teared themselves apart in war again and again says everything. I feel like it's been written so messy/rushed, there are so many other things about that chart that don't make sense

Btw ppl who try so hard to deny mitsuki's bad parenting (which was literally and explicitly rejected as a proper parenting in remedial arc), would have called Katsuki an abusive monster if he as an adult and a father did the exact same thing to his teenage daughter.

(hitting her on the head multiple times while she was minding her own business in front of teachers she respects. Victim blaming her for getting kidnapped by the most dangerous villain group of the country and calling her weak instead of emotionally comforting her. And ofc if she had an aggressive personality, ppl would 100% blame Katsuki. Fun fact about me is that I wasn't a hardcore Katsuki stan back then during sport festival (shame on me, I'm so fake), however I was rooting so hard for him to win (in round 3 of sport festival) 😭

I didn't know why but now I do. Katsuki is so ambitious, goal-driven, and hardworking, it just makes you root for him automatically. His passion and seriousness for what he does motivate everyone else to put more effort in their work too. Just like how he provoked his haters in sport festival to work harder. Like, every time he lost or felt insecure, ofc he had a big crash out first, however, he also always collected himself quickly and announced he'll become stronger to surpass/beat everyone. Specially when he claimed in front of the whole stadium that he's gonna win. Ppl call it arrogance, I call it... why he's my goat..

It's why I don't agree with the spiritually bs thing. One looked forced af and the other did not happen the way it's claimed by the fandom. Like, it could have been written in a way that would work but what we got just felt like repetitive pitty parties and afterwards, crying ceremonies.

Also the whole "talk" is more important than "action" thing that is being pushed, and characters getting wild titles based on that makes me cringe. (mind you, it should be the reverse 😭) Specially when I feel like the author is only pushing two characters to be "oh so much better than other heros", meanwhile if I wanna be realistic, what they did was reckless and irresponsible, the way they did it.

No wonder at the end, saving someone from tripping makes you "my hero" and sacrificing your life to save someone makes you "meh". And no wonder the ranking at the end is so shallow, it's probably based on this mindset. "Smile at cameras and you're high, but we're gonna call someone who is ranked lower each time we faced a hardship and needed to be saved because they're the ones who are crazy enough to put their lives on the line to do so not our top rank..."
