hey friends, so you’ve probably noticed i haven’t been on here as much lately but i’m not planning to let my little sociopath go any time soon. for now i’m going to be writing kai over on my MULTI because i still have plenty of muse for him, but life has been too busy to maintain too many blogs at once. this also doesn’t mean i won’t be coming back to this blog eventually - but right now for my own personal sanity i’m going to put him over there for the time being.

                  He looks visibly disheveled, almost like a man that has lost his mind with his erratic steps through the field. Grass crushed in his wake as a scowl looked like a permanent fixture across his features with growing frustration for this new life introduced to him. There’s a moment that Kai takes to wonder what in the world the guy is trying to do --- until expletive words are thrown out. Intrigued, he steps closer towards the other male, fingers cupping his own chin. Pointer tapping against lips. “ You know --- most people want to make sure they DON’T leave this place. If you think that finding your way out is hard, I should let you know that finding your way back in is MUCH harder if you don’t know what you’re doing. ”

If you have made it this far then you have obviously shown an aptitude for magic that allowed you to be here. If you haven’t, well then, you don’t remember now do you? Here you will learn to hone your skills to the best of your abilities. You all have the ability to be some of the best Magicians in the world. You just need discipline to make it so. Brakebills is a three year school and highly selective. After your first semester you try for your discipline and see where you are placed. You have the ability to be placed in a number of areas:

Physical: Magical ability to manipulate matter. [uncommon]

Natural: Ability to manipulate natural elements.

Illusion: Magical ability to create and manipulate vivid illusions.

Knowledge: Alleged magical abilities held by scholars of magic.

Healing: Aptitude for magical healing.

Psychic: Magical abilities concerning psychic energies. [uncommon]

Traveler: Ability to travel to any dimension/place. [rare] (only one allowed. spot is now taken)

Once you are placed you will be put into that specific house until graduation. The question left is, will you make it to the end or crash and burn and fail out. With how hard the curriculum is it is no secret why some people don’t make it.
