uhm all the meta

                you Brought this upon yourself ! a little meta on magnus & max’s desire to be a pirate.                 magnus is, well, magnus & while he could brush it off as a silly desire? he’s done plenty of things in his life, he’s chased pirates down on a speeding boat in the 1800s for a little extra cash & for the fact that he’d always wanted to explore the seas. he’d genuinely listen & probably tell him about his experiences ( as well as embellishing the stories a bit. )                  & while magnus has done plenty of questionable things in his life with his gray morals, he’d hope for better than max trying to rob ships at sea but at the end of the day? he’d love him either way. he’d probably take him on boat rides in the meantime & tell him stories of mermaids & other creatures in the deep blue sea.                 magnus is so so particular about children and he’d just want the best childhood possible for max, he’d definitely spoil him silly. he’d want to do everything for max that should’ve been done for him, he wants to make sure that max can be one of the warlocks like catarina and ragnor who could say they had a loving family.                 no one believed in magnus when he was a child, they made him feel like he was cursed, like he wouldn’t be able to be what he wanted, that he was destined for great destruction & nothing else. so even in the little things magnus would want to make sure that max knew he always had his family on his side.
