Final Fantasy Type-0 HD got some love too! Square premiered a gameplay video, showing off some of the characters and their English voices. Lots of battle action in this video, which is what we’ve all been waiting for.

Final Fantasy Type-0 Director Would Like To Continue The Series

“I would like to make more Type games and make them into a Final Fantasy series. We’ve registered trademarks for it, we’ve gone that far so we want to continue it,” Tabata said. “I’d like to make the Type series the kind of series where we can do the kind of stuff that we really can’t do in the mainline numbered series, so make it a really alternative kind of Final Fantasy.”

I’m telling you straight up: Hajime Tabata and Naoki Yoshida are Square Enix’s new golden boys. Sorry Nomura-san. You had your moments.

Hajime Tabata states his interest in continuing the Final Fantasy Type series and also says that Type-0 HD will keep its original Japanese theme song “Zero” by Bump of Chicken with English subtitles. Do you think Square Enix should keep the Final Fantasy main tunes in Japanese or do you prefer having the English versions?
