My sisters always telling me how disgusting my unshaven body is and I got really tired of it so today when she starting talking that way again I called her out. She told me she thought my armpit hair was gross and was just trying to help me out by telling me to shave it. And I was like does your bf shave his armpit hair off? And she said no (of course I already knew the answer). I asked her if she thought his armpit hair was gross. And she said no, so I just looked at her until she realized what just happened.

I told her the truth is, if I had been born a guy, not one single person would demand I alter my natural body in this way. And I find it offensive when you, my own sister, shames me for it so often.

Sniffs

The thing I love about where I live is that nobody gives a fuck if I’m a girl but FUCKING LOVE to wear “cologne”. I did that when I was twelve before camp, and literally got compliments all day about how good I smell.

I know guys who wear “Girl’s perfume” and nobody gives a fuck about that either

COLOGNE IS FUCKING PERFUME. PERFUME IS COLOGNE. SAME FUCKING DIFFERENCE.

First day of school.

Today I dropped off my child for the first time at kindergarten. They experience separation anxiety every time they start something new where I am not a participant. It was that way with swim class and soccer camp, but not with dinosaur camp. So, I was not surprised that kindergarten would be difficult for them. The education assist was very helpful in encouraging them by explaining all the fun things that was going to happen. However, the first thing the EA spoke of in regards to my child’s experience of fear/anxiety/nervousness, was “you are a strong boy.”
