Info/FAQ
Are you okay with your terms being put on the LGBTA wiki? No. Full stop, please don’t put my terms on the wiki and please tell me if you see them there
Can I make alternate flags for your terms? Yes! Absolutely, so long as I’m credited for the term (and I’d love to be tagged in it, I’d love to see alt flags for my terms, but that’s optional)
Can I use your terms/flags if I’m on your DNI? Yes! I would just prefer you not reblog them from me/interact with my blog.
Do I have to credit you if I use your terms/flags? No! Not at all, so long as you’re not just reposting them and claiming them as your own
How do you feel about [x discourse stance]? Don’t ask me this question

"it's transphobic to say that transmascs can be lesbians" actually it's transphobic to tell transmascs what they're allowed to identify as based off of their own personal experiences with gender and sexuality, which is known to be complicated for us a lot of the time. letting transmascs contextualize their own experiences however they feel fits is the furthest thing from transphobic, you just hate anything that doesn't fit into the boxes you made for yourself.
Opinions on TransX in the MOGAI / LIOM community (Google Forms)
Hi! I made this google form survey recently to gauge people's opinion on trans-x / transid in the MOGAI / LIOM community. Terms that will be discussed in the survey are transage, transabled, and trace. There are separate sections for each term, and follow generally the same questions for each one. There will also be some questions on alternative labels, like chronosian, and if the community seems to prefer those or dislike them even more.
The aim of this survey is mostly just to see what people in the community think of these terms overall, why they feel how they do, and what groups feel what way. There will be very little discussion of any other kind of topic on this survey. The point is education and getting a grasp on the topic from other community members, not discourse.
When the survey findings are posted, the main aim will be to showcase a clear picture of why people are or are not supportive of the terms, what these terms mean to people, and the reasons different people have for these opinions.
Important to note that I'm not some kind of survey expert, and while I did my best, not everything will have the best wording. My intent was wording it as neutrally as possible, so I apologize if anything comes off funny.
Trans-X includes: Transage, transabled, trace (transrace), and various others. This form will primarily be focused on the first three. It is
After 2 weeks of having this open (so, on July 3rd) I'm going to close it and compile the data. General information, like pie charts and some snippets of text response, will be used, but people's identities aren't going to be asked for and is completely anonymous. Still though, if you wouldn't feel comfortable having what you say be put out anonymously, I would use shorter and more general wording, in case you're worried.
Finally, obviously be nice on the survey. Don't lie on it, spam on it, or troll on it. Don't be a jerk to me or other people. Responses that are obviously meant in bad faith will get deleted.
Flags/coined by me! Please see my list of excluded worlds in the part one post and check out the rest of the genders in part two

I understand the frustration but this is absolutely not how you handle it. Start an information campaign, send asks to a bunch of coiners to encourage them to speak out, don’t further the misinformation, unintentionally or not
I appreciate you stepping back, but at this point it’s too late to mitigate anything. All of those terms still exist and were still on Tumblr for months. That misinformation got to more users than saw the corrections and more than follow you. No other posts will entirely fix all of the damage done here.
You cannot use “getting information out there” as a reason to not apologize for this. You still spread misinformation that likely got to more users than it would have had you not made these blog. Any positives done by you’re blogs cannot undo that.
keno+/kenoplus/omen+/omenplus: someone who identifies completely as kenochoric, plus additional genders. they don’t feel partially kenochoric, they aren’t fluid, they are entirely a kenochoric plus more. someone could use keno+ to indicate that they don’t know specifically what is added onto their gender or that the additional genders are not the ‘main’ part of their identity.
a genderplus kenochoric term! the format is from the boy+ flag, the colors are from the kenochoric flag, and the symbol is the kenochoric symbol with a plus sign incorporated. ‘omen’ is the kenochoric equivalent of man/woman.
flag id: two flags with a black background. each has four stripes fanning out across the flag, beginning as small stripes at the left edge and growing to nearly fill the full height of the flag at the right edge. in order, they are very dark purple, dark purple, purple, and light purple. the left flag has a symbol near the right edge of the flag. the symbol is entirely black and is made up of two circles, one smaller than the other and centered within it, a plus sign centered within the smaller circle, and lines pointing from the sides of the plus sign out of the larger circle, both angled slightly downwards. end id.
Since mspec lesbian week is (was?) happening, I do want to remind people making pride stuff of something! The aurora lesbian flag is not only for mspec lesbians, it is for ALL lesbians! It's a general lesbian flag. So feel free to enjoy it no matter who you are! =)
I just wanna clarify something another person said because it bothers me a lot- transfemmasc/transfemasc isn't intersex exclusive, I don't know about other similar terms, but those terms are not exclusive, and it's been spread a lot that they are because the main users tend to be intersex people, but they are for anyone of any sex, the terms get redefined a lot and it just. irks me, don't add exclusion to non-exclusive terms /nm /nay
I still lurk here a lot and it’s really such a shame to have to unfollow/block mutuals I really liked because I had to watch them just. slowly get more and more toxic and unabashedly violent with no self awareness
actually can we as a community please talk a bit more about how we don't allow people to be neutral on things for some reason. can we talk about how messed up that is.
expecting people to feel very strongly even on things they're not educated on is super dangerous and unhealthy, especially for people who are mentally ill. not just one kind either; the indecisive people, the people with black and white thinking, the people who already have an incredibly hard time not feeling super strongly on something.
it encourages people to basically take a huge stand on something for the sake of not being ostracized and nothing else, and it's just so messed up. it leads to both them getting hurt, AND a higher likelihood for misinformation.
to be clear this is about more niche online discourse and fandom shit, not like. literal bigotry and exclusionism don't get it twisted. if you use this to be a bigot i'm biting your knees rn
i originally sent this to the person who made the flag originally, but then i realized they haven’t posted since november last year so, um, aroaces,
our flag looks like the flag of apartheid south africa
my south african friend brought this up to me today. it doesn’t matter how different the flags are–when you spraypaint it, when you see the flag from far away, all you see is the orange, white, and blue
the apartheid south africa flag is a flag that is a threat to their lives, their safety, and their country
my friend proposed that we could flip the flag, like an upside down cross, and i would like to suggest shifting the colours like this (similar to what they were like on the original aroace flag):
the colours all have the same meaning, they’re just different shades now. i don’t like to reblog bait but please reblog this, regardless of if you’re aroace or not, so we can spread word and use a flag that doesn’t represent white supremacy and racism.
Hi! I was not aware of this when I made this flag. I do understand how it could remind someone of that flag, but frankly I do think they’re still pretty visually distinct. My flag has more stripes, including a yellow and a sky blue that aren’t present in the other flag, lacks a symbol, and the two blue stripes have high enough contrast that even from a distance you can see both. I did make a slightly adjusted version that emphasizes those things more, though, if that helps.
Just… idk, there are lots of flags out there, and a lot of them are going to have superficial resemblance to each other. Plus, blue white and orange is a really common color scheme. There are lots of other flags that use it as well.
If it makes people more comfortable to turn the flag upside down or use a different one, that’s totally fine. I’m not going to make anyone use a flag that they’re uncomfortable with.
We have seen many coining challenges going around and wanted to make one of our own :D
We thought we could have this one centre around positivity and self-love overall because I think that it would be wonderful to have more of that around!! Any terms are welcome, including allionim, system terms, and pronouns, not just genders!
Feel free to complete this challenge at your own pace and skip any days you do not wish to complete. There is no specified start date, although we suggest starting after April 13th so that if you are doing Epikulupu’s Coining Challenge you don’t get overwhelmed! Take care and have fun!
Though it is not required, we would love to be tagged in posts about this coining challenge to see the lovely things you all create!

I just feel a need to clarify because some people/places/etc. have been saying. things. about aldernic.
When aldernic says "has" a body, that can also include internal identity or perception. Aldernic doesn't need to include desire; sometimes it is something you just are. This has been a very long-running staple of the term. It is not new.
It also is definitely not only for nonhuman or unattainable identities. People like making those kinds of alderns because they're fun, but it's kind of like saying the non-xenic genders don't exist anymore because people make more xenogenders.
I do not want people getting the wrong kinds of information about what aldernic means. If you aren't sure if something I've made does or does not include something, assuming an answer and then pushing it around is going to make me upset.
I put... a lot of time and effort into this label. I hate having to walk around and clear things up to people because they learned the wrong information, oftentimes from people who are not aldernic. Whether it be from other bloggers, wikis with the wrong information, etc., it just.. frustrates me a lot.
I hope this doesn't come off as rude or anything, and I'm definitely not trying to be passive aggressive, it just... really, really hurts as a coiner. If something I made doesn't say "this is only for xyz kinds of identities," it isn't something you should put into the definition for me.
This isn't about any specific person/wiki/etc., but I am getting more and more confused people in my inbox about it, and I really feel a need to clear this up now. Again: If you have questions or you're confused, you're very welcome to come to me, either here or at @aldernic. I am an open book.
[Image ID: Two flags next to each other. The left flag has 9 horizontal stripes. Top to bottom, they are black, navy blue, light yellow, dark purple, magenta, dark purple, light yellow, navy blue, and black. The right flag is the same, but the eye has a pink glow on its outline.]
Uncangender is a gender that's similar to another gender, but isn't, and falls into the uncanny valley by imitating that gender in a way that is ominous or unsettling. Similar to how something that looks "not quite human" becomes uncanny, the imitation of another gender has an uncanny, or "not quite right" nature. It is KEIN (kenochoric-in-nature), and it may also be SCIN and/or HIN.
This gender was originally coined by ezgender. The flag remake is by an anonymous user.
The symbol alone and the flag without a symbol are below.
