Nerionian 🌼🌼-🌞🌞-🌼🌼-🌞🌞-🌼🌼
1. Nerionian - a term used to describe a WLW or otherwise "-loving-female/woman" attraction that results from one's own gentle, light, or underwhelming femininity. It can describe one's experience as being WLW, and can be used by those who do not consider themselves as being completely feminine but not completely anything else either. Derivation and pronunciation: Derived from Ancient Greek, “νήρῐον (nḗrion)” meaning “oleander” Pronunciation: /ˈni.ri.on/ + -ian
NEW TERMS FOR BI WOMEN AND WOMAN-ALIGNED NBS
Damme 💜
A bi woman (or nb who aligns as a nblw) who subverts societal expectations of womanhood for herself, women, men, or others.
This is not to be confused with a “feminine bi woman.”
What this means is a bi woman (or nblw) who subverts the expectations of femininty, by performing their version femininty for themself, women, and others.
Loving women as a woman or nblw is an inherently radical experience. It can be scary and alienating.
Damme is meant to provide community and support to likeminded bisexuals, who defy heteronormative expectations and live their femininity outside of what straight cis men want. This can extend to feminine presentation, and often times presentation is important in expression and flagging yourself as a damme, but it is not a necessary component. This is about you, who you are and who you want to be. It’s about living outside of the cage of straight cis womanhood.
Tomme 💙
A bi woman (or nb who aligns with being a wlw) who rejects societal expectations of womanhood for herself, women, men, or others.
This is not to be confused with a “Masculine bi woman.”
What this means is a bi woman (or nblw) who completely rejects the societal expectations of femininity and womanhood. This could be through masculinity, androgyny, neither, or anything in between.
Defying the expectation for femininty in women is hard and scary. Tomme is supposed to provide a sense of community and support for gnc bi women or nblw of all kinds, from every society and ethnicy and background. Gnc bi women are the most vulnerable members of the bi community and absolutely need terminology to reflect their experiences.
These terms are TRANS AND NB INCLUSIVE. TERFS FUCK OFF
These terms are not descriptions of appearance, and are not a spectrum. You’re either a damme or a tomme, not both. Not a “dammish tomme” or a “tommish damme.”
That said it’s totally okay to not fall under these terms at all, or to use different terms. But these terms are meant to be respectful, comfortable, and inclusive of all bi women/nbs regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, etc.
These terms can be used regardless of the gender of your partner!
I’m back to bring you more content! I made some flags for these terms and switched up the color palette a bit. I feel like the blue/purple bi palette is amazing and I wanted to run with that over pink/orange (although i do also love that color palette).

Rosamour: A femme attracted to other femmes [flf].
Niamour: A butch attracted to other butches [blb].
Inamour: A butch attracted to femmes [blf].
Viamour: A femme attracted to butches [flb].
The names come from different colours representative of femmes and butches, combined with l’amour, French for love.
Rosamour = rose [pink] - symbolic of queer femininity.
Niamour = niebieski [Polish for blue] - symbolic of queer masculinity.
Inamour = indigo - a queer colour, as well as pink and blue mixed together, while more on the blue side (representing the inamour person).
Viamour = violet - a queer colour, as well as pink and blue mixed together, while more on the pink side (representing the viamour person).
Butch and femme are not terms exclusive to lesbians or sapphic people! These terms are non-sapphic butch & femme inclusive.
Please don’t discourse on this post! You can search butch or femme on my blog to find posts about non-sapphic butches & femmes.
Coramour: A femme attracted to both butches and femmes.
From corcairghorm, Irish for violet.
Mariamour: A butch attracted to both butches and femmes.
From ultramarine, a colour close to indigo.
Once again, butch and femme are not terms exclusive to lesbians or sapphic people! These terms are non-sapphic butch & femme inclusive. Please don’t discourse on this post!
Enlios: A nonbinary man attracted to other nonbinary men. They may or may not experience this attraction as gay. (nmlnm) | Pronounced en-lee-os.
Enlune: A nonbinary woman attracted to other nonbinary women. They may or may not experience this attraction as gay/lesbian. (nwlnw) | Pronounced en-loon.
Evolke: A nonbinary man attracted to nonbinary women. They may or may not experience this attraction as gay or straight. (nmlnw) | Pronounced ee-volk-e.
Estelo: A nonbinary woman attracted to nonbinary men. They may or may not experience this attraction as gay or straight. (nwlnm) | Pronounced es-tell-oh.
Took a shot at creating some Nonbinary options for sex labels today. I don’t much care for having to crush myself into the female or male checkboxes, being as I am an intersex & nonbinary person.
So here’s what I brainstormed:
Xeumel: a non-binary person.
A generic umbrella term, used as a separate option for NBs instead of male and/or female.
[ ‘xe’ stands for xenogenders, ‘eu’ represents neutral genders, ‘mel’ mimics the pattern from female & male to make the term sound like it fits with the other options; ‘mel’ can also be switched with ‘male’ to keep even more ‘in-theme’ with the other existing terms, if that’s more preferable to someone. ]
————
More specific options:
Xeamel: feminine nonbinary person.
Xaimel: masculine nonbinary person.
Xaemel: simultaneously masc & fem nonbinary person.
Neumel: gender-neutral nonbinary person.
Xomel: completely genderless person.
—————
All of these can also be shortened to their prefix to be used instead of Man / Woman • boy / girl.
Xeu = general nonbinary person ( obviously you can just say ‘person’ though )
Xea = nb person who considers themself to be ( somewhat, or quite ) feminine
Xai= nb person who considers themself to be ( somewhat, or quite ) masculine
Xae: a nonbinary person who considers themself to be simultaneously masc & fem.
Neu: a gender-neutral nonbinary person.
Xo = genderless person ( ‘person’ also works by itself of course ).
•
Ex: “I am not male or female, I am Xeumel / Xeamel / Xaimel / Xomel / Xaemel / Neumel.”
“I met a very sweet xea today, they helped pick up my book when I dropped it.”
“What’s up, xu?” ( “what’s up, man?” )
—————
Note: All X’s are pronounced as Z’s for these words.
‘Zoo-mel’ ( Xeumel )
‘Zee-mel’ ( Xeamel )
+etc.
———
These terms are in deliberate opposition to the sex binary as a rigid structure. As an intersex person, I am greatly displeased with coercive & assigned sex labels altogether, so– I’ve decided to tamper with the rigidity that they falsely hold.
This is a simple strive to gain distance away from the idea that “male” and “female” are the only two sexes that have ever, will ever, or do exist. The aforementioned concept harms intersex people, non-intersex people, as well as those who exist apart from the two Western sexes.
While these terms do spawn from my being intersex, the labels are free to use by any Non-binary person who’s fed-up with the sex binary as well.

Any thoughts or improvements that could be made to this idea?
I’m a little nervous about posting this, but I really wanted to share my alternative lesbian flag design with you all! 🌷
since it sort of looks like the sunrise, I thought it would be cool to call this the horizon lesbian flag.
I haven’t based it off of any other flag, including any other existing lesbian flag designs, but I do really love using the red-to-yellow gradient in pride flags when I can.
I hope you like it ♡

When your gender is hard to feel and very mysterious. At times it slowly reveals itself like a mist coming off of the mountains. There is a slight sense of horror to your gender, like its in a place where it doesn’t belong.
Feminine- Eeriella
Masculine- Eerievir
Neutral- Eerieneu
Androgynous- Eerieangi
Xenic- Eeriexene
Fluid- Eeriefluid
You can also combine the terms, seeing as I consider myself both Eerievir and Eerieangi, so I could also use the term Eerievirangi!
Feel free to use these terms and flags as you wish! And please tag me if you use my flags c:

Enigender: A gender that you cannot describe accurately with any words. However, certain pictures/audio/video/ect. can describe it just fine. Basically anything that’s not written or spoken word can describe enigender. Its a really fluid gender that could be described differently from person to person
The term is not mine, it was made by a deleted tumblr user, but there was no flag and I do that so I made one!
Orange because it means creativity and I think it looks good ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The picture frame/camera represents how the gender can be described by pictures & audio!
