so for personal reasons I've been reading one of those popular Tiktok Romance-Fantasy book. I actually enjoy the female lead while despising the male one.
BUT! I enjoy their dynamic because the majority of the book so far the male lead is seeing himself in his interest, particularly a child version of himself who was going through similar traumas that she is going through now. He's pretty protective of her too. The way they are posed as her having little control over her life and him having complete control combined with an actually insane age gap (like 800 years) makes her feel less like an adult and him more so.
This whole book has me wanting him to adopt her/become her mentor because I think that would be a genuinely interesting route. Unfortunately this is a romance book so that will never happen.

If you could write your own Batgirl story with Cass, what kind of arc would you do?
I want to see her time during Bruce's "death" so bad. That period of her life is my Roman Empire
