It kills me how Yan still doesn't know that Dmitry tried to kill himself when he discovered the bite. I hope this fact comes up in their relationship, because Dmitry himself doesn't tell Yan about it, even when Yan got angry and said a lot of things to him in the heat of the moment. Apparently, he thinks that since he didn't die, this moment isn't worth mentioning...

For Yan, trust is very important. We see this in several episodes.

In the flashback scene, Lane avoids Yan and openly shows it. Yan responds to her suspicions with the phrase, "Do you happen to judge everyone by yourself?" Were you

really so hurt, Yan?After all it wasn't surprising that youwere looked at askance back then..

Also, in the conversation with Pileon and Anhea, it's Yan whom Sasha entrusts with the phrase about trust

Further, in the scene where Dmitry finds Yan stitching up his wound, he (Yan) is initially surprised, and then a mask of 'indifference" appears on his face. He seems to resign himself in a second to the fact that he will once again not be trusted, not be accepted

The entire subsequent dialogue shows us that Yan is in pain, BUT! an interesting detail is that he does not help the general to dispel his suspicions in any way. Yan seems to want to be trusted unconditionally, no matter what. I find this childishly touching and so human ❤️

If you develop a relationship with Dmitry, but in the end choose someone else, and then try to explain yourself to him, the General does not allow Lane to call him by his first name. He literally forces her to address him formally.

With Yan, on the other hand, Dmitry doesn't want him to call him General (and this happens after Yan has already become a member of the squad).

If with Lane he felt that his trust had been betrayed and it was necessary to draw a line where they would only have a professional relationship from then on, then what about Yan?

Perhaps Dmitry feels that he himself betrayed Yan's trust, was unable to protect him, and no longer has the right to be called General in his eyes.
