Dear 11 known dimensions, GENERiP made plans. Unfortunately, like the now-unreleased GENERiP song “Don't Make Plans” goes, you shouldn’t make plans (at least not too far out). So, without warning, comes the 3rd GENERiP EP “Tales from the Burbs”. It is likely the final GENERiP EP and a fitting tribute for perhaps the greatest band no one has ever heard of. It is available on all the usual digital music services, our Music page, and on CD for select friends and family members. We hope you enjoy.
Finally (for today anyway), GENERiP will be making available, via a secret link to those that request it, the classic scat Christmas album “Scat the Halls” by Griffith and Page.
Also, we now have all of our full tracks available on SoundCloud. Link above and also on our Music page here.
P.S. If you head to the SoundCloud link, you may notice a little surprise not yet announced.
UPDATE: Surprise revealed! It’s the Bigfoot Lives on the Moon single!!
With the latest installment in the Star Wars saga currently out, much talk has been made about how it will compare to the prequels (it has to at least be better than the prequels, right?!), as they are widely agreed to suck total ass. However, I am here to say that they didn’t bring solely darkness to the force. You see, if it weren’t for the prequels, there may have been no GENERiP. The first album I bought, if you don’t count the “Space Jam” soundtrack, was Weird Al’s “Running With Scissors” which I picked up after seeing this video on TV. Tracks like the linked “The Saga Begins” (a parody of Don McLean’s “American Pie” set in Star Wars Episode I), “Jerry Springer”, “It’s All About The Pentiums”, and perhaps the greatest musical art piece ever created, “Albuquerque”, inspired Bob and I to write parodies of our own during Academic Networking Period (or ANP as it’s colloquially known to any Oakville Senior High attendees of that era) while we were supposed to be studying. As they say, one thing led to another, band members were recruited, friends were enlisted, parodies turned to originals, practices were had, recordings were recorded, and shows were put on. But it all probably really comes down to seeing this video a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....
GENERiP would like to wish all our billions of fans around the universe a very merry happy Christmas with the release of this hotter-than-hot-cocoa hot single “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” available at the following fine retailers.

This "Classic from the Vault" is Cher's "Believe".
“I was bored, so I replaced all the snare hits with the St. Anger snaredrum. You’re welcome.”
Genius.
For anyone interested in making Jim's official drink "Jim Juice".
The better a singer's voice, the harder it is to believe what they're saying

Yet even another again...Classic From The Vault.
"George Like-a Coconut" - a song about a friend's dog.
Every once in a while I think how amazing it would be to totally sell out and write music people would actually want to hear. This happens very rarely (about once per day). Then, I laugh and throw these little gems in the trash. Anywyay, here’s another classic sellout from the vault.
Oh yes...it will be yours.
UPDATE: Also, unfortunately cancelled.
The next GENERiP single. Coming soon. Have mercy…
UPDATE: Unfortunately cancelled probably.
Oh my. It has been a while. #GENERiP #thenewEP
Another classic from the vault. John Stamos v. 2.2. 4th generation lyrics. Soon to be updated to version 3.0...(keep your ears peeled...AND your balls).
