Not that many would care since I was that active even before So I may be considering coming back to league rp. Honestly I wasn't planning to even revist here until after the Riot is complete finishing retconing all the lore. It's too depressing to watch all the drama and freak out after each and every update. Regardless I'll need to clean up this blog. I'm thinking if moving back to single muse instead of multi muse. It's my og Muse Caleb of course. He was my first muse started my league rp and have been constantly drawing him for the past 4 years? Still I'm scrapping his entire backatory for him and moving in a new direction. He's moving out of Noxus and I have some intresting idea on how he was revived. Also I'm redesigning his visuals too. Stole Swains Face scarf thing because I really enjoyed that design. Also movinf away from the hood so he doesn't look like rip off talon anymore. Still in my early stages though, like I said I'm still not sure if I want to return yet. Would be nice to have someone to bounce idea back and improve my crappy lackluster writing skills

At least the old lore had a much more stable (if not simplistic) foundation to stand upon than this overburdened stack of stuff randomly thrown onto it. But again, why should anyone care about your opinions? You're just an OC, you can re-mold and reshape your character as you see fit without major consequences to your character building

You don't own Riot character Anon. It's there bloody characters and you don't own them. You are not entitled to any of the champion in league as your own. Also the old lore has the worst foundation in terms of world building, it was not stable at all. It was simplistic true, but if you get fustrated at the slightiest bit of difficulty than you lead a sad life. I mean does your opinion matter either? Quite frankly I'm happy in stuff I'm recieving from Riot and if you don't, well boo hoo cry me a bloody river. I don't really give an rats ass about your “complaints” and Riot shouldn't either. I mean really have you no other valid critizsm other then maybe it doesn't fit your taste. Old lore is dead and Riot is burying it. Riot is has been commited to entirely ret coning the entire League universe from the start. Are they done with their complete retcon? No obviously not, but their on their way. Tell me more about how inconsistent the old lore is to the new. Anon learn to retcon for god sake.

I remember that but I didn’t know if it was some special instance. Idk, I just wish Riot would pick something and stick with it. Bandle/yordles have gone through so many changes and almost every time it’s something completely new and out of the left field.

Meglings? We yordles now -> Yordles don’t like magic -> Lulu aged hundreds of years in the glade -> Noxus doesn’t like yordles -> Poppy is hundreds of years old too yeah timelines -> Actually Noxus thought yordles were ok -> You know what fuck it yordles magic now -> lmao no can actually visit Bandle -> shit, we can’t even be PERCIEVED

It’s not that hard to get. Most of Yordle lore other than Poppy, Kled and Tristana (kinda) haven’t had their lore updated to work with the Lore currently. The league universe thing purge every mention of the league and all the yordles are heading for a lore update.

Regarding Bandle it seem that most human can’t visit the place due to how magicly rich the place and non yordle being get really high from being there. Yordle themselves have some sort innate magic in all of them according to riot. Noxus has also lost most of it’s xenophobic trait, it’s more like join or die mentaity now.

I mean it’s the reason why Demacia Poppy statue is a human with twin tails instead of a yordle. Kled is aparently seen as an old man riding an pony.

They could make them aliens from another planet for all I care. All I’m asking is for a major update that explains everything properly rather than disjointed lore changes in specific characters that leave major holes in the writing regarding characters such as Gnar and Veigar’s torture by Noxus.

Oh I see I think Yordle lore update are comming relatively soon, they were talking about it when Kled came out a few month ago. I think Piltover and Zaun might come first but I'm not exactly sure. Yordle art assest on their page seems to be not complete yet and the one on their Region page is an re used one from Ivern.

As for faction there will be changes and updates (massive of small depending on your headcanon) to all of the major faction within Runeterra. So pretty much all of the old lore bio are subject to changes and tweeks to allow the world to fit better. A major change that is comming for Ionia is that it is more of a continent instead of a island from before.

The new lore will be everything Riot has put out since they announce the retcon.

  I do look forward to the world as a whole being normalised for new lore though. I guess that’s the subtle difference I make in that the Champions can still exist in the world with some level of canonicity even if the world itself isn’t exactly all normalised for the new lore and believe me I have been waiting ever since the retcon as I am sure many have for a new lore Ionia because goddamn rito T___T

Granted it’s now a copout with an ‘inexplicable dimensional rift’ but there is no mention of old lore concepts in his lore as it stands now. At least he can stand on his own in a new lore environment.
